Both of us ate the fabulous lobster roll. Earlier we had tried the lobster rolls at Slick Lips in Pensacola, and Jaime’s is significantly better. Plus it cost less. The atmosphere of eating on the canal was great with pelicans, gulls, and herons. We will return. Be aware! It is not easy to find without a map app.

Really nice and tucked away on the service drive just west of the bridge. There is a limited menu, but still a good variety of items. The food came out pretty fast and we grabbed a table on the dock overlooking the river. There are a lot of pelicans that hang out on the dock. They never bothered us while we were eating, and they were interesting to watch. The food tasted really good and fresh, and was nicely presented.

Officially, I would rate this place as a 3.5. The owner of the food truck sources her seafood from the seafood shop next door. It is definitely excellent quality. The outdoor seating on the wharf is beautiful, especially on a clear day. The Alligator Bites were similar to a hush puppy, as one review stated, with a little spice along with a little bit of cheese. Like a mozzarella stick and an Alligator Bite fused together. The fried crawfish poboy would be good for someone who likes a lot of breading. The bread they use for sandwiches is excellent, very fluffy with that touch of butter and flavor. The fried grouper basket was apparently tasty, but unfortunately, she used grouper fingers instead of fillets. The lobster roll was good, with the lemon dressing, even including shrimp in there. However, I think it is more shrimp than lobster, which I would have wanted the latter to be the star of the show. Unfortunately, there is a giant markup on the food. Also, there was the odd occurrence that the owner charged for someone who wanted to add coleslaw, when the other member did not want the coleslaw that came with the fried grouper basket. It’s delicious, but I would advise you to choose wisely and take complete responsibility for any questions you have about the menu and pricing.

This is a great little spot. The seafood is super fresh and well prepared. The outdoor seating has a great view and some of it is covered.
For appetizer I had the fried dill pickles and crawfish bites, both were crispy and presented ok even after being carried out. As an entree I had the fried shrimp tacos and they were delicious! Served with slaw a remoulade or other sauces. It comes along with chips and a bean salsa. Perfectly fried and not overcooked.

If you’re out that way give this spot a try. I’ll definitely be back.

Sure wish we’d have gone here yesterday rather than Flora-Bama Yacht Club. FBYC was okay but Jaime’s was definitely better all around. I had the fried shrimp tacos and my wife had the fried grouper poboy with sweet potato fries which were superb. Limited menu but excellent all around.

I loved the fact that this place is right on the water— like you are on the dock right in on the action. You watch the boats drive by and have the breeze in your hair. I don’t love the food. I got blackened grouper tacos and well…they weren’t blackened. There was so much liquid from the fish leftover after I ate the taco, it made it soggy. Also, it was just fish and a very light sauce— nothing dressed on top of it. It also didn’t feel or taste like the tortillas were grilled or heated up, just tasted like they were pulled from the package. The side of pineapple slaw didn’t have much if any pineapple in it. I love a good thin tortilla chip, but the side of black bean and corn salsa was too heavy for that type of chip.

Awesome food right by the water. We had the crawfish poboy, grouper poboy, grilled shrimp and alligator bites. The only thing that was just ok was the alligator bites. They were why would you describe the middle of the alligator bite were mushy on the inside and I think they were supposed to be more like a hush puppy. Everything else was fantastic and we’d definitely come back.

A huge Lobster roll. It was tasty a little on soupy side, but the lettuce was great at holding in the liquid. The bread was nice with the butter flavoring on it. The size was a little bit on excessive size, so plan to be extra hungry or split between two people. We additionally ordered the shrimp salad and pineapple slaw. The slaw was good, a little on the sweet side as expected. The shrimp salad was hands down amazing!!

Jamie‘s food truck is amazing! Top notch customer service. We don’t get to see that very often these days. Jamie went above and beyond and Aja was wonderful also.! We had the softshell crab basket they made, especially for us. It was absolutely delicious. Took a friend with us and he had grilled grouper tacos never had them before. He is now addicted wanted them again that night! am not a huge french fry person, but let me tell you these fries are the bomb. They are delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other wonderful food.
I will tell everybody I know not to walk but to run to Jamie ‘s Food truck!

Jaime’s seafood truck definitely the best lunch spot. Lobster Po’ Boy was my favorite along with the seafood chowder, while the rest of the family decided their favorite meal of the vacation was Jaime’s shrimp wrap and tuna roll. Her shrimp n’ grits were already sold out to tell you how amazing that is. Next time getting there as soon as she opens for the shrimp and grits! View eating at the picnic tables there was so beautiful and fun!
