We stopped here this morning on our way home and we were super disappointed. The young lady taking our order was not welcoming or friendly. Almost seemed annoyed we were there. When we arrived we were the only people there and the one breakfast sandwich we ordered took nearly 30 minutes to get to our table. People that came in several minutes after us received their orders before us. We overheard them joking from behind the counter about how they forgot about something-I’m guessing it was our order. Zero apology for how long it took. They could have at least brought the sandwich to our table but they called it out from the coffee bar. The sandwich was very basic. Nothing special. We walked across the street to the bookstore afterward and we should’ve just gone there to begin with. The food and coffee looked good and the atmosphere was so much better.
Also, to park in Roslyn as a visitor, it will cost you $8 for two hours. So by the time you pay for parking and a $12 breakfast sandwich, you’re looking at $20 for a bland breakfast stop.
My question is-why is this place rated so well? Did we just have a one-off, bad experience? I recommend stopping elsewhere.

What a hidden gem in Roslyn! We stopped by on our way home from a camping trip, and it was such a delightful surprise. The baristas were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond—happily answering our questions and offering great recommendations from the menu.
For a small town outside of Seattle, this place knows how to craft a top-notch latte that rivals any big-city café. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

Very good coffee vita brews! A nice quiet environment that is fun to sit for food and drinks. Big windows look out on the town. Breakfast and lunch is really tasty as well! The retail offered has many unique options that you don’t find elsewhere, I recommend looking around to find neat additions to your home!

Another coffee spot in town… yay. Lots of yummy looking pastries and they serve Cafe Vita coffee. There’s also a small food menu. I got a turkey club which was huge and came with a great side salad.
There’s a case of speciality/healthy-ish drinks, including Healeo cold pressed juices. And a freezer with pints of Talenti and Winegar’s ice cream (from Ellensburg).

Amaaaaazing Mocha. Be sure to get the 16 oz. So worth the savoring.
MacKenna serves with a smile and made a tasty club sandwich from scratch. Mikalea puts together a beautiful mocha.
The tomato bisque is thick and chunky.
Notice clean and creative decor. Notice the menu is on a roll of butcher paper on the wall.
We were full when we came in. See today’s reviews on Louie’s leavenworth for breakfast and Cle Elem Bakery for snacks.

Such amazing coffee. Caffe Vita is a top notch roast. If you haven’t tried it, you’re in for a treat. The food here is crave-able and keeps me coming back, and Jamie and her team are always so friendly and inviting when I stop in. It’s worth a mention that they have ice cream, pastries, and beverages as well as a little shop of treasures to browse through.

It’s took 25min to get a smoothie that was mediocre at best. I’m not sure if they just “forgot” to make it until I reminded them. Either way waiting that long for a smoothie is unacceptable. I definitely regret giving them a 25% tip.
I’ve been in before and had great coffee. Also the pastries are wonderful. Lesson definitely learned, only get coffee and pastries.
