If you order takeout, absolutely check your sub before you leave. I’ve had to drive back every time!

It’s so sad to see what Dibellas has become, but I guess I expect it from this location. I went to a Dibellas in Ohio and it was stellar. This location has always had terrible service. They are inconsistent, especially if it’s a cheesesteak & they will more than likely completely botch your order (they somehow put random toppings if they put any toppings on at all).

I can’t help but think the new layout (which is ridiculous) is an effort to have less staff but in that – now they are often out of their best everything rolls (MID-DAY!) and goof up orders even more. I can’t help say that this location probably doesn’t seem to get good business because their ordering system and their workers never have consistency. You’re more likely to get unchopped or undercooked, or too little of portion of meat on your sub…or you’ll get a water soaked – sloppy mess. That’s why they aren’t busy any more. Cutting staff or understaffing is only going to make that worse.

They need to train consistency. I fear Dibellas won’t be around long.

While the sub I ordered was hot and delicious, I had some issues with my side and beverage. The bottle of Diet Pepsi I was given was expired. Fine, I have other drinks at home. But the macaroni salad I order was also expired AND someone altered the expiration date to make it appear as if it expired today instead of two days ago. Is macaroni salad that expired two days ago going to kill me? Probably not. But should I have to eat macaroni salad that isn’t fresh – even when I paid full price for it – and have an employee try to pass it off as fresh? No, no I should not.

I got a steak and cheese sub, full. Asked for mushrooms and onion on only half the sub. Was told no, cannot do that because if you want two different subs you need to order two half subs. They really want that extra dollar. Then I said “can I have it on the side” and they said yes” so then they wasted a .10 container and I dumped it on my sub 10 seconds after. When I opened my sub to put on the mushroom and onion there was no meat or cheese. Horrible and rude.

Delicious subs, pasta and potato salad. This time they gave me a nice box with my meal with cookie. Best sub place in all of Buffalo.

I drove by this spot a million times on my trips to Buffalo. Never actually stopped in until someone told me that these guys have the best subs around.
The bread was fantastic. I ended up going with the godfather which was very very good. Nice clean, open concept and nothing bad to say about the police friendly staff and service

I used to love this place. I really did. It’s just
incredibly mismanaged now. The food that you actually do get is subpar,
—i.e. cold, firm cheese on a hot sub—and I can’t remember the last time I ordered from here and actually received my family’s entire meal, of which half of was missing tonight. I waited over an entire year to order from here again, thinking it was a fluke and they’d figure it out. Low and behold, it wasn’t. Somehow it got worse than last time. I’ll stick with Jersey Mike’s and Wegmans, or any of the numerous reputable and delicious sub shops in the WNY area.

This COULD have been a first 5 star review from me. Sadly, it is not. We had ordered several subs, drinks and cookies on our visit. The crew was fairly nice. The place was almost pristine with cleaning supplies left scattered throughout. Almost as if to make an impression of it. Though it was clean enough, the food was somewhat lacking. I had VERY specifically requested a large amount of mushrooms on my sub and there was barely 6 or 7 small slices from an awful canned stock. The chicken was likely frozen but was actually quite good. It was tender, well seasoned, juicy and flavourful. The Swiss cheese they used was one of the best I’ve had. A slight bite to it with a flavor that was impressive but not overwhelming. Sadly it seemed it was, quite literally, thrown together; Spilling out everywhere once unwrapped. My better half ordered a meatball sub. The meatballs seemed to be of the average frozen variety and there was almost no sauce to speak of. The cheese was nearly nonexistent and clearly thrown on cold. My kids had mixed-meat subs that were also thrown together poorly. One of the drinks I specifically asked for no ice and was 1/2 full of ice once it was emptied. The cookies were just average. If they step up their game they could be a very impressive establishment. I will return and give them another chance some day and, hopefully, they will have improved. I’d recommend this place but, for now, ONLY as an alternative to other national brands.

Ordered 2 sandwiches.

Dagwood with extra cheese had minimal toppings, seemed like a half portion of meat and no cheese at all.

Chicken cordon bleu was missing sauce, spinach and the chicken from the sandwich and was a 5″ instead of the 7″ordered.

Food tasted and looked good however definitely was not the quality that we are used to with DiBellas

Lovely reliable Dibella’s is no surprise the one that thrives at the top of my sub eating preference. Fresh baked bread nice enough and present employees quick service from card to table in under 10 minutes.
