Nice place to stop by and have some comida oaxaqueña. Got unlucky with crepas con champiñones y flor de calabaza en crema poblana becase it didn’t have any champiñones inside and for the price expected better presentation and something better than a few granos de elote conservada. But my spouse got lucky with enfrijoladas con tasajo, it was a big portion with a big piece of tacajo.

Excellent meals. We arrived on a weekday afternoon and there was no one there. Concerned that the food would be let a down, but we were too hungry to look further. Not disappointed…everything we ordered tasted great and the service was friendly. The location was just off of the highway. This was a fantastic restaurant with great food, service and atmosphere…highly recommended. The Alambre de Arrachera (flank steak mixed with vegetables) was absolutely amazing, it was the best dish of my stay in Oaxaca (see pic). So much flavor! The Grosella drink (beverage with passion fruit syrup, lime and mineral water) was also amazing. Only disappointment was the bananas in mezcal…the pictures showed it lit on fire, but there was no fire. Would have ordered a different dessert if I’d known there was no fire. Overall an awesome dining experience. We were lucky enough to be next to a great live band too.

Moon Circles Enchanted Garden
The mole Verde was bland. The mole negro was not well balanced. The veggies were tasteless. Plus it was expensive. The atmosphere, music, and service were good.
