This food was so good and authentic. We got the mixed grill platter and it was a 10/10 dinner, perfect for 2 people. All of the meats were juicy & flavorful and the vegetables were perfect. Balkan potatoes were so delicious. Bread was fresh and so so good. I highly recommend eating here. The SERVICE was AMAZING! I’m guessing it was the owner that was serving us and he was the only one in there and was so kind. Best dinner ever we loved it!!!!

Our meal was outstanding! We ordered the grilled meat platter and everything on it was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portion size was generous and great for 2 people to share. The Balkan potatoes (SO GOOD) and bread were the perfect sides. The wine list was very unique, we ordered a bottle of Bull’s Blood red wine and it paired perfectly with the meal. The torte was sold out so we went with the apple roll for dessert, which was warm, crisp, and a great finish to the meal. The food, service, and overall experience were excellent. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. We had the kabobs (I had the beef and my wife had the chicken), both were out of this world good. I strongly recommend this place and will return. They also have a nice selection of wine !

Great taste of some European classics. Place was packed, definitely recommend a reservation. Food took a while to come out once ordered (about 30min), however the waitress was actively checking in on us, thanking us for our patience, and even brought us a small appetizer on the house. Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy with a bar area and plenty of seating arrangements. Will definitely come back again.

Officially my favorite meal in RVA for over 10 years! Mixed Grill Platter with steak, chicken, veal, ćevapi sausages & fresh veggies along with their utterly addictive Balkan Potatoes… which will change your life! Must be paired with their homemade bread and various imported Eastern-European wines you can’t get anywhere else in the city! Such a cozy and welcoming vibe and they always treat you like family. Do yourself a favor and don’t walk… RUN to check them out and all of their unique and delicious offerings!

We came to try a new place, recommended by friends a d this place didn’t disappoint. Service was friendly and very fast. The food was delicious, with a great selection of dishes to try and many we are now wanting to go back to try! The fried feta cheese was very good and so was the shnitzel. Music seemed to be regional, which is a great touch! We definitely want to go back and try more wonderful food!

Went for the first time last night. It is a small unassuming restaurant much like a hidden gem. The waiter (I suspect he was also the owner) was exceptionally friendly. I explained I had never been there before and I requested him to pick to pick my meal. He did so without hesitation. My meal was Goulash that came with bread and mashed potatoes in the center of the goulash. A flavorful, hearty, and fantastic dish. When I finished the bowl was bone dry as I used my bread to wipe the bowl clean. I am going back for lunch in a couple of hours. It was that good.
