The order station was the best part of the experience that went downhill from there. Admittedly, there is a nice selection of food options. We only ordered three entrees. That averaged out to $29/person for takeout, which was shocking. We got butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, and malai lamb chops.
We sat and waited for at least 30 minutes before our food was ready. Nobody else was there to pickup, but we could hear they were so busy talking in back that they didn’t get started until several minutes after our order was entered.
When we finally got home to eat, we were surprised to find that the lamb chops, which cost $37.49 with tax and a way too generous tip of 15% for takeout, was the smallest portion. The chops were charred so badly that the bones were black and fell apart when picked up. The meat was so rubbery and overdone that they were almost hard to eat. One chop was so burned we couldn’t eat half of it. Even the sauce couldn’t hide pea sized bits of char breaking off. Lamb is naturally tender, so that was quite impressive how they managed to ruin it so badly.
The lamb tikka masala was way over salted and the texture of the meat was rubbery and way over cooked. The butter chicken was the best of the three, but the chicken was mealy, as though it had been sitting on the back burner all day and overcooked. We did get a tremendous amount of rice, however, which was seasoned and flavorful. It lasted way longer than the entrees.
They didn’t even bother to put napkins or utensils in our takeout bag and they are a takeout restaurant! Overall, eating here was a very disappointing experience.

The service over the call was also very pleasant. The staff member was polite, patient, and helpful while discussing the menu and taking the order. Everything was clearly explained, and the coordination was smooth and professional.
This time it wasn’t as great and the chefs special Angara Butter Chicken had too much oil and it had separated. Tried to mix it but it wouldn’t mix. Definitely not edible. I called and got a refund for it.

I moved here in May and am SO relieved to finally have found this place. This will definitely be my go-to for Indian food moving forward.
