I’ve never reviewed this place because I tend to be the person who reviews places that are not great.
Not fair to you folks. Been there 25 times, easily, this year. The food is always great, the people are always nice, and the place is always clean.
The reason for the review, we got a take out order tonight for the first time. You always try to rush home because the food always ends up being cold. Not your food. It took me 12 minutes to get home and my food was still steaming. Outstanding!
Then, also for the first time, I got the apple pie. Good lord almighty. I’m an apple pie kinda guy. This is easily the best apple pie I’ve had in my life. Kudos to you folks for always being the best you can be.

Me and my boyfriend have been having a hard time looking for a new place to go out to eat, just when we thought it was hopeless we came across Murray’s!
My first time here was awesome!
Felt homey and comfortable, food was delicious and a great portion size, staff was super friendly, we will definitely be making this our new date night restaurant!

Good afternoon, and thank you for taking the time to read my review! On today’s outting, we had Murray’s Restaurant!
We ordered a bacon egg and cheese (add sausage) crossiant with home fries, country fried chicken with 2 eggs over medium, home fries, and toast. Got the kiddo pancakes and sausage links. I do usually order my home fries well done (so extra tasty) but didn’t today. The crossiant was really food and big! Their country gravy is alright but could definitely use a bit of love. My husband loves the country chicken and says its better than bob evans. For the kiddo’s pancake meal, he got 5 mini cakes but they were a decent size and so fluffy along with 2 sausage links. he ate all the sausage and more haha
We have eaten here a few times and we enjoy coming here. It’s just a nice spot. Everything I have had is decent. Hope you have an amazing day!

Service was quick and friendly, sandwich was delicious! The cashiers are very friendly and helpful, noticing I needed a bag for our take home items. AND the bathroom was CLEAN! A real plus.

We stayed at Dove Inn/RV park. This wasn’t too far away so we ordered take out. Boy, am I glad! The salad, although “just” a side salad, was so good. The ranch dressing was the best we’ve ever had. I had the broiled cod and it was so delicious!!! My husband had the sirloin tips and he said it was good too. We had pie for dessert, me banana cream and he had the raspberry, both were very good!! They are pretty sneaky here. They had a big ol’ jar filled with brownies where you pick up your order. He got two and not to be insulting but he loved them more than the pie. We had 2 Pepsi’s too. A refreshing drink!! I can’t forget the sweet girl who helped us, Brooke, she was all smiles and helpful.

Our bike group (12) stopped here, nice waitress, fast service, tasty food. A few ordered breakfast and all got sick within a very short time. Those who ordered salads, burgers were fine.

My wife and I always wanted to try this place and I’m glad we finally did. It sits in a small plaza and on the outside doesn’t look like a restaurant but as soon as you walk in it’s very surprising and nice
We had to wait a few moments to be seated which was fine, the hostess was extremely nice. Our server came and got our drink orders which were their sweet tea, and a really good sweet tea to boot.
My wife ordered their breakfast with the country fried steak as I got their cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. Our food was amazing, my wife said the country fried steak was extremely tender and the gravy was smooth and full of flavor. Her home fries were cooked perfectly as were her eggs as she asked for over medium, and they were actually cooked properly.
My burger was a decent size and surprisingly juicy. I asked for bacon and a fried egg on top between a medium and hard yoke, whomever cooked it was amazing as it too was done precisely as asked. The chilli cheese fries were also amazing as the chilli was spicy at all as the cheese melted onto the hand cut fries.
The price for their food is on point as for their portions are the right amount, service and atmosphere great. I highly suggest this establishment as my wife and I will return to try more of their yummy food.

My first visit to Murrays Restaurant in Wintersville, Ohio. The food was spectacular and the service second to none. I would highly recommend visiting this local establishment.
