We decided to try a new to us Italian restaurant and we were plesently surprised with Giovanni’s. Nice atmosphere, good service, and excellent food. Everything from the calamari, garlic rolls, salad, to the pasta were on point and great tasting! The sauce reminds me of my grandmother’s sauce. Very good all around and no wait to be seated without a reservation. We will be back.

I ordered the Rigatoni Giovanni over the phone and picked up in the restaurant. When I got home, I was greeted to a container full of oil and barely any food. It’s disgraceful the amount of oil that I was served that I swear that I could bake a cake for 16 people with the amount they gave me. I will not be eating at Giovanni’s again and I highly advise you to not eat here for the sake of your own health.

Stopped by for a late lunch. While we were contemplating the menu Anthony told us about the specials and we ended up ordering two of them. My wife had the linguine with shrimp and scallops and I had the oso Bucco with risotto. My wife enjoyed her meal thoroughly and mine was fine. The food came out quickly and it was quiet in the restaurant. It’s worth stopping by. Next time I will try their pizza.

Had dinner last night. Food was pretty good, service was just fair and the kitchen took forever to get our food out. I would recommend the lobster ravioli and the ceaser salad both were very tasty. One thing I found to be odd was when our checks came we noticed a service charge for using a credit card. We were never given the option to pay cash. Honesty, I have never seen any upscale restaurant making a charge for using a credit card. I would go back but I would hope to have a more seamless dinning experience.

I loved it. I’m not really a Italian food lover but the food here is amazing. Me and my friends got the best customer service in the world. James and Anthony made our night. They were funny and friendly and treated us like they knew us. I recommend going to this restaurant you won’t regret it.

I’ve had some lovely meals at this restaurant. However, on Memorial Day 2023, it was less than perfect. My salad had a long hair in bottom of dish. I was told the $4 add on charge would be taken off. Not a fair trade. Then we learned they started charging $3 fee for use of credit cards. What?? So much for the tiny salad refund. I think taking my entree off would have been the appropriate apology for hair in food.

I’ve been a fan of Giovanni’s for about 20 years. The service has been great and the food is good. Recently, however my favorite dish, their ricotta stuffed eggplant, had been intolerably over salted. It was not so in the past. I regularly eat at other Italian restaurants in Naples and do not notice this degree of over salting. Hopefully, management will take notice as I’d like to continue as a regular customer.

The Bartender was supposed to take our orders and serve us. He was awful! Have to literally call him over to get anything! He stood behind the bar and talked and joked with the other employees. I’ve had better service at Wendy’s or Burger King.
