Really awesome experience here. Waiters and waitresses are so nice. Steak was high quality. Salad + Grilled salmon addition was really top notch as well. Ambiance is awesome and high end. Underrated spot. Go here if u can. I went here twice in 2 days while shredding keystone.

The salmon special was unexpectedly fantastic. The salmon filet was perfectly cooked. The big surprise was the awesome curry sauce and fresh haricorts verts, grape tomatoes with short grained rice! I also discovered a new favorite wine from Columbia valley… Greenwing Cabernet.

Good atmosphere and menu, but unfortunately the food was pretty poor quality and staff were very inattentive. The waitresses seemed to be playing a game of who could avoid their tables longest. They rechecked every ketchup bottle and salt shaker in the restaurant twice before finally coming over. It was with surgeon-like precision how well they would look everywhere in the restaurant, but avoid eye contact with us or the other tables sat near us. I was appreciative of the one who finally came over, she was lovely once she engaged us, and the others kept checking their ketchup bottles.

Service was great, employees were all super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was really nice as well. The short rib appetizer was pretty good and the short rib burger was super yummy and worth the price. However the shrimp pasta was pretty mid and the lemon chicken was downright terrible for 32$. It was very very overcooked and the flavor was overwhelmingly lemon without any nuance or balance at all. It was genuinely pretty gross, I guess the side of mashed potatoes (extra cost btw) were good as were the 8-10 green beans included with the dish. I know river run food is going to be expensive but for that price we were pretty underwhelmed with 2/3 of the dishes. If you’re going to come here just get the burgers, for 20ish bucks they are yummy, but beware of some of the fancier dishes.

I visited Montezuma Roadhouse in December and had an amazing experience thanks to the bartender (Yerson). He was incredibly attentive, constantly checking on our table and making sure everything was perfect. He also made me an excellent cocktail—one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We were 1 of 5 tables in the restaurant. We walked in at 8:00 (2 hours before they close) looks like all of the staff had already got sent home. We waited an hour for our food & we finally still didn’t get it so we asked them to box it up. Service was not good, food was not worth coming back. Even if it rains you should think about keeping more than one server on the floor. The server also didn’t check on us once. When we got home with our food (1 minute walk) we looked at the food and looks like a $5 meal that actually costed $30 each. Coming from someone who works in a restaurant this was terrible

We arrived here 15 minutes before happy hour ended, ordered appetizers right away, and then waited over an hour to get our simple appetizers (and only after we asked for the manager). We were generally ignored by our server, and no drink orders were taken for the other two people in my party (there were only 3 of us). Later, our dinner order was finally taken, and we waited another 45 minutes to get that (and again, only after saying something to the manager). Our server rarely checked in with us. The manager was nice enough to comp us some extra food we asked for to-go and gave us a $8 discount on our check. In sum, good food (pork sliders, once we finally got them, were fantastic), service a lot to be desired. Don’t come here if you like attentive service and want to do something else with your night.
