Planning my next visit !
3 different servers. We have only ever been there off peak so can’t say how it is when they are busy but it’s definitely a go to for us. Always plenty to take home too !
Italian Delite Pizzeria & Restaurant – Trappe, PA
Italian Delite in Trappe is pure magic — a generational family business that’s been serving love on a plate for years. They just unveiled their beautiful new dining room, seating more than 50 guests, with massive big-screen TVs and a full bar coming in just a few months. Once that bar opens, it’s going to be the local hangout — great food, cold drinks, and a vibe that feels like home.
We kicked off our meal with their Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, perfectly crisp and packed with juicy steak and melted cheese — pure comfort food. Then came the Felicia Mia Pizza, hot out of the oven and loaded with flavor. Every bite reminded us why this place is such a local favorite.
The Homemade Gnocchi was next — soft, pillowy, and swimming in a sauce so rich and flavorful you’ll want to eat it with a spoon. And then came the showstopper: the Philly Dilly Cheesesteak — made on Corropolese Italian Bakery rolls from Norristown, the gold standard for any true Philly sandwich. It’s everything a cheesesteak should be: juicy ribeye, perfectly melted cheese, and that signature roll that holds it all together without falling apart. IYKYK.
We couldn’t leave without trying the Wicked Chicken Pizza, a master creation of sausage, chicken, pepperoni, vodka sauce, and a drizzle of honey. The balance of sweet and spicy makes this pizza unforgettable — a true masterpiece.
To finish, the Homemade Cannoli hit every note: crunchy shell, smooth filling, and just the right sweetness.
What truly sets Italian Delite apart is the heart behind it all. Giuseppe, the owner, greets every guest like family and makes you feel as though you’re eating right in his kitchen, surrounded by love and tradition. The dining room was packed with smiling faces — families, friends, and locals all soaking up the warm atmosphere and old-world hospitality.
If you’re searching for the best Italian restaurant in Trappe or Collegeville, look no further. From authentic pizza and handmade pasta to Philly-style cheesesteaks and family recipes passed down through generations, Italian Delite is the real deal.
