Extremely poor customer service. We sat at a table for 25 minutes with no waters, no service and no waitress taking our order. This was a Sunday afternoon and they were very little people in the tap house. The staff made no attempt to serve us and the bartenders looked at us and continued to talk and ignore us, her name is Shannon. We wasted our time, thank goodness we didn’t waste our money there!

Went on valintines day, took way too long to get our drink order, then after they took our drink order did not bring us the complimentary chips and salsa after seeing other customers receive chips and salsa, we waited nearly an hour for our food, other customers near us complained because they waited much longer. The waitress did apologize and even said that our food would be covered for us waiting so long, but then after getting our food the manager joy took over serving us but the couple next to us did not get their food covered just got 1 item removed from their check, while we did not get any discount at all we paid full price even after the waitress was confused why the manager did that even though she knew we had waited too long for the food and knew we should have gotten some short deal for having to wait so long for our food. Will not be going back. Need a complete overhaul on service and management because we were not the only people that were made to wait and given terrible service.

We visited this place a day after Thanksgiving 2024. For an early dinner.
The place is a little crowded. We were served quickly and we waited for our orders about 30mins.
Their food is delicious and the service is great.
Since this is inside the Casino, they have a lot of clean restrooms.
Overall, I would recommend eating at this place. Especially if you want to take a break from all the casino machines.

Oh. My. Deliciousness!! I had heard great things about this restaurant a handful of times over the past few months, but I don’t live in town, so I finally made a little trip to Porterville and checked out Redwood Taphouse. The only regret I have is that I didn’t make the trip sooner.
So, here we go! I had the Redwood Burger (without bacon), house salad, and sweet potato fries. The burger was 10 stars. I told my best friend, “This is the BEST burger I’ve had in… I don’t even know when.” The flavors were *POW!* So scrumptious! The sweet potato fries? *drool* Perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside. The portions were perfect, I took some leftover fries home. I can’t tell you much about the salad other than I took a couple bites and then I hit that burger and *BAM!*, I slid that salad over to the other side of the table. Hahaha…
My best friend had the sampler. The queso that came with the chips was ‘moan n’ groan good!’ The smokehouse wings were delicious, especially dipped in the house ranch. The potato skins were just as good in my air fryer the next day when we warmed them up. My best friend gave her sampler 5 stars! (I did too- and I sampled everything. lol)
The service from Gregory was very pleasant and the host was so nice and warm while seating us.
5 stars without hesitation, and I will be back… soon! Compliments to the chef and staff!

Will never eat here again. All the food tasted old and stale. Made us all sick. Got served cold and the service was awful. They counted me and my 2 kids as a ‘large party’ so they could add the 18% automatic gratuity charge….

The atmosphere is a sports bar/restaurant with way too many TV’s. The service was basic with a little bit of a wait even though it wasn’t busy. The food was horrible. I ordered a ribeye steak and my husband ordered the Redwood burger. Both of our meats were so dry you couldn’t squeeze any moisture out of it. I ordered my ribeye medium and it was beyond well done. The corn on the cob was well done and greasy. My husband had the fries and onion rings and he said they were ok. My other side was a house salad and it was okay. After eating a few bites of my steak I had to stop because it was just gross. We voiced are opinions about the meats and was told she would bring us a dessert for our troubles. My opinion the ribeye cost $28 they should have only had me pay for my salad and corn. Both my husband and I was sick when we got home. I will never go back. The highlight was my drink, the 60 ounces of Tito’s vodka and Malibu and peach schnapps. My husband was disappointed that his food was cold – tri tip- even though it came out in a deceptive skillet, implying that the food was piping hot. The sides were small for the price and Cole slaw was bland. I left happy having consumed my drink slowly throughout the meal but my husband left sad because his drink was forgotten and the waitress had the audacity to ask him if he still wanted it, after waiting anticipatorily for half the meal. It will be a long time before we come back here , if ever.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!! I came here with my wife and another couple while visiting the Casino. The place looked good, but as soon as we sat down we all knew it was a mistake. The food was cold, and had no flavor, on top of that they messed up all of our orders then looked at us like we ordered wrong. The cherry on top is that we found hair in our food and they still made us pay for it!! Straight trash here, better off eating at the taco stands outside.

So the food is good, but the waitresses can do a little bit better. Our table was also not cleaned. Sunday night my husband and I and his father went for dinner and for some reason, they decided to have a mariachi band come in and blast music. Not cool..it was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk anymore. We just had to sit there and finish eating. Angered me!

We had the mozzarella sticks which were really great, the spicy marinara sauce was yummy but it should be served warm not refrigerator cold; also, the ranch dressing should be serve without the lid on it for presentation purposes (kind of tacky).
The chicken and shrimp dish was delicious!!
The Shag cocktail was really delicious and definitely plenty to share!!
They were accommodating when we asked for the channel to be changed to the Olympics.
The service was good.
