Absolutely Outstanding – A True Taste of Punjab!
Taste of Punjab delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is rich, authentic, and full of bold Punjabi flavors—clearly made with high-quality ingredients and great care. Every dish was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
The service was warm, professional, and welcoming, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere that’s perfect for family dinners or dining with friends.
If you’re looking for real Punjabi cuisine with generous portions, excellent taste, and top-notch service, Taste of Punjab is a must-visit. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!
We wanted to try something new, so we chose the Behl Puri. WOW, glad we did. I’m picky, AF, but how I’ve never known about this before, idk.
It has puffed rice, like rice krispies, cilantro, veggies maybe, chutney, a few peanuts even. So many flavors, little sweet, little tangy citrus.
It’s unlike anythikg else I’ve had, sort of like a drier Indian chevice….
You do need to eat it right away, it wouldn’t be good later due to the puffed rice getting soggy.
But definitely a MUST TRY! Try with mint chutney!
The garlic naan was fabulous! Airy, & light, crispy yet sometimes chewy & moist.
My fav part, my main course, the Chilly Paneer.
Yes that’s how they spell it.
Wow. Full of flavor. Crispy, crunchy outside, with a soft & moist paneer inside. SooOoOoOoo tasty!!! So much flavor!!!
Our waiter brought out some Tikki masala sauce to try, that was really good too!
20/10!!!!!
My favorite Chilli paneer by far ever !
Next I will try their Gobi Manchurian.
I wish the interior has some bright lights.
A quick note on heat level- if you normally order medium, order the mild here. Hot but delicious!
Sadly, they no longer offer a buffet.
This is was my first time sitting down in a year if ever, but I found myself craving some authentic Indian cuisine that is gourmet, healthy, and free of chemicals and preservatives due to my allergies and dietary needs.
The food was great and well portioned. I had a variety of entrees including a soup of mulligatawny with fresh ginger, vegetables and many herbs/spices. I followed this by lamb Kodak with a side of garlic Nan and an iced tea.
This is some of the finest Punjabi style Indian food this side of the Mississippi River and it competes with the finest Indian restaurants in Washington D.C., Chicago, Detroit, Miami, NYC, and Atlanta.
I also highly recommend the Kheer rice pudding and the Goat Biryani which is very authentic and well seasoned. Outstanding!!
I left feeling happy and refreshed rather sluggish and tired like so many Chinese and Mexican restaurants.
I’m impressed, will be back, and highly recommend this place to everyone. If you ever drive through Saginaw make sure you save Taste of Punjab in your GPS!! I drove 30 minutes and so glad I did.
I ate all the Biryani and Lamb Kodai. Sorry I forgot to save a picture but you can see my amazing soup.
Thank you Taste of Punjab!
