The restaurant is good to visit for seafood as there aren’t many in Wichita, ks and you receive a good quantity of food however the seasoning isn’t always up to par. At first glance it’s like yum, but then you have to take the shell that has all the seasoning on it off of your shrimp when I think of cajun I don’t think of getting a small sauce cup of plain, melted butter and another of “cajun seasoning ” which seemed to be mostly cayenne pepper. And catching staff was like playing pop goes the weasel. I have been there a few times now and there has typically only been one server for all the tables which to me is unreasonable and makes it worse when they take longer to come back. Like I said the quantity of food is great however I do feel like they could step up their game on the seasoning.

Excellent service. The fried food was a little bit dry but had good seasoning. Portions were large filling. Butter dips were varied and delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed this place. My wife had the snow crab combo and I the fried shrimp pasta both were very delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and service was great. The seafood was fresh and cooked to order the corn on the cobb amazing flavor! We anticipate coming back soon.

2nd time to the restaurant. 1st time was excellent. Came back for fried fish and shrimp. The food, including the clam strips appetizer, was over salted/spiced in the kitchen, making most of the fish and shrimp very spicy to eat. The ends tasted great, just wished the entire pieces were good. The waitress apologized for the trainee in the kitchen, but sitting here with heartburn now. Ease up on the Old Bay please.

I had lunch with my girlfriend yesterday for the first time at Krab Kingz and it did NOT disappoint. I had the Snow crab and shrimp platter. My girlfriend had the Chicken platter. Both dishes were excellent. The service was prompt and kind. I was very impressed with Jazzmin who rang us out at the end of our meal. 10/10 recommendation. We will definitely be back.

A small gem of Wichita, the food was great from the Crab cakes to the crab legs, fried fish and more! Not much to look at from the outside. But the inside is clean and great service from the one man show. If you are craving seafood in the absolute center of the USA then give this place a shot.

We were so disappointed in our visit tonight. My husband and I had previously visited Krab Kingz last year and absolutely loved it. So when his parents were in town we wanted to take them as well. However, we should have listened to the recent reviews.
When we arrived at the restaurant we were sure that it was closed, despite the open sign, because there wasn’t a single car in the parking lot. When we went inside, the sign told us to seat ourselves so we walked in and were greeted and told to sit wherever. The waitress wasn’t unfriendly but she also wasn’t friendly either. There were at least 6 signs reminding patrons to tip, which should have been a red flag. We had to repeat our order 3x for the waitress because she didn’t write it down and then she missed my father-in-laws corn.
The food was so disappointing. All of our shrimp was rubbery and over cooked. The eggs are were literally rubber. The potatoes and sausage were inedible because of how much Cajun spice was on it. No where on their menu does it say that they would dump spices all over our food. But none-the-less they were coated and extremely spicy. My mother-in-law and I are both sensitive to spicy food and found at least half our meal completely inedible. The last time we ate here they did not put Cajun spices all over the food unless you ordered it that way. They need to warn people because some people don’t like or CAN’T eat spices like that, none of us are excited to see how we feel as the food settles. we had to ask the waitress for more water because she was too busy going out for smoke breaks to check on us, her only table. And a good waitress would have noticed that the table was picking at their food and left half of it on the tray.
They charged us for the “included” cups of butter as well.
TL;DR: food was so spicy it was inedible and over cooked, service was slow to non-existent even though we were the only customers during a Sunday dinner period.

The nasty fat b with the stomach apron and bad hair dye…really needs to watch the way she speaks to patrons and employees alike and stop wearing those god damn yoga pants.Besides the fact that servers used to come to the table and take your order bring your drinks..utensils..and of course your food.these people had the audacity to post this…i am NOT tipping a server in a place where Im doing half their job.much less posts their expectations. I tip based on service..do NOT eat here.it was good at first..but the service and quality are trash.also..2 people can not eat a decent seafood dinner for under 50 dollars..and the green and black stuff which i think is mold comes free.smell your shrimp before u eat it..if it smells like ammonia like mine did dont eat it.run!like the employees.i feel sorry for the staff.management is trash

My friend and I came here for lunch for my Birthday. Kim got lemon pepper butter and I got original on the queen. Good size portions, great tasting, and wait staff was friendly.

great taste! was surprisingly fast to get seated and served. might have found new Sunday place.
edit: this used to be a great spot when it opened. not sure what happened to all the staff and attention they put into the food but my most recent visit (when it was still open) was sad. the place was sticky/dirty, only two elder folks working and the flavor was not all there. not much available from the menu either.
