We stopped in today and were surprised to see we were the only ones here because this place absolutely deserves to be BUSY. The sushi is incredibly fresh, the rolls are delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. You can tell the chef puts real care into every plate.
We tried several rolls, and each one was flavorful, balanced, and plated like something you’d get at a high-end spot. The sauces were on point, and nothing tasted premade or rushed.the hand roll was stunning!

So good! This was my second time here, and the chirashi bowl didn’t disappoint at all. The portion was big, the fish was fresh and thick, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. I’ll definitely come back for it again!

We called in an order and within 20mins it was ready. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. The food was good, not great. We were a little disappointed in the spicy tuna crispy rice. The tuna seemed a bit overdone and didn’t taste like what we would expect. The tuna nigiri was great but the salmon was just okay and seemed not super fresh. We would be willing to give this place another shot sometime.

A good Japanese restaurant is rare in San Antonio. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The atmosphere was a bit sterile, but it was clean and bright. The food was good (not the best I’ve ever had though) and the service was great. My husband had the James Tower, my mom had the una don (she was very pleased), and I had the chirashi bento. The menu was extensive; I was surprised with the variety from traditional, to sushi, to comfort foods. No Korean or Chinese dishes as you sometimes find in wanna-be Japanese restaurants. I have been waiting for this location to open for some time. Having said that I have now been three times and it is a great place to go for your sushi need, along with other notable soups, noodles, and appetizers. The menu offers something for everyone, the service is friendly and knowledgable. The atmosphere is casual and laid back, with good music playing in the background, along with big screen TVs. The sushi here was so delicious! I’m gonna get the monkey roll next time, it is rich but one of the most unique rolls I’ve seen! The gyoza is perfectly fried so be sure to try those out when you go.
