This was the first stop of our food tour and the Pączkis were SO good. The shop is full of culture and so many varieties of pastries. The lady running the shop was sweet and happy to teach us about the pastries.

This was my first time going into the bakery. I wanted to try their packzi. OMG they didn’t disappoint. If you only had store bought packzi, you haven’t had a real packzi. The fact that they sell them year round is a plus. It was round (not flat), fresh, soft, and they filled it with filling. It definitely won’t be my last time there. A wonderful experience.

Wow, what an awesome place! The 2 women behind the counter were so friendly and down to Earth. The Pączki (pronounced pownch-key) were awesome as well we bought several different flavors and each one of them was so GOOD we’ll definitely be back!

A true hidden gem ! The best rye bread in the metro area , solid pastries and Slavic treats too ! Always pleasant staff ! They even take custom bread orders for larger quantities and double bagged for travel. Thank you so much for continuing the tradition.

We spent $44 on donuts, kolaczki, and assorted other cookies, All were bland and/or stale. One cookie had a bug in it. We found this bakery way overpriced and the quality and flavor lacking.

Family owned since 1908,this is a genuine old school Polish bakery.
They have a large selection of cookies and pastries all on display. We tried a few of their pastries and cookies. Cookies were just ok but their pastries were amazing. Brought back many childhood memories.
I would love to go back and try one of their famous Paczki since they were already sold out.

First time getting a paczki on fat Tuesday from this popular bakery in Hamtramck. On that day, a long line is to be expected. The taste of these was top tier. I’m happy that I stopped at the bakery and plan on making the trip every year.

We tried the Reese’s cupcake, brownie cheesecake, and banana tart, but couldn’t get past more than a bite of each. Unfortunately, the desserts did not taste fresh. The cream and frosting on both the cupcake and tart were extremely dry, with a play dough like texture. It seemed as though the desserts had been sitting out for quite some time. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this bakery for desserts.
