Rude, abrupt, could care less about helping you. The lady trying to get my sandwich had just thee worst customer service etiquette. The guy ringing me up saw the whole thing as he raised his head every time she was rude as hell. I had a couple questions. That was my only interaction with her, but after how horrible she was, I wanted to walk out. But I did not because that would have been what she wanted in the first place so I got my sandwich and got the hell out of there never to return. I am sure that this place exists in some way for the Lincoln High students to get their sandwiches on trips or events. As a person who works FOR Lincoln Public Schools, I will advise them to get their food elsewhere. An apology may come from Goodcents after this review, but it will be from management who hired people like this to begin with, and are just fine with these behaviors. Maybe they are desperate to get people to help in this store and will hire any warm body. Or maybe that lady hates her job so much that she doesn’t care one way of the other. If there was a camera in this place I would invite the owner to discover why Goodcents at 27th and Randolph is not making the money it probably should. Good customer service is free, cost nothing. This person, woah, seriously hates what she is doing. Good customer service can be blown with just one bad experience. Hence the Lincoln High thing where they just pick up there sandwiches by the box load and are gone. Even if you are having a bad day, you can’t even be neutral. Do you think any other sandwich shops in the area would NOT want customers? I’ve just had it with bad employees and people say nothing and it continues. Something should be done. Hence this review.

I love Goodcents. I ordered an Italian on Garlic Pepper bread. It was so good. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and the employees were efficient, professional and very nice. I recommend Goodcents when you want a good sandwich. I saw they also have baked pasta, I have never tried it, maybe next visit.

I came here about 3 or 4 days ago and I probably should have left the review then but I’m going to leave it now… The bread was so chewy and disgusting that I couldn’t finish the sandwich.. I was surprised but I don’t go here often so hopefully that’s not how it is usually.

I go to this goodcents frequently (3 times a week) and I’m always greeted by the sweetest employees. They create such a happy atmosphere and are so helpful. I’m always happy to see the same faces everyday. The sandwich never disappoints either. The kindness of the employees and their customer service is unmatched anywhere else!
