Tacos Azteca is an excellent place for authentic Mexican food. The tacos were packed with flavor and made fresh, with generous portions. The service was fast and friendly, and the overall experience was great. They provide good service with customers. Friendly environment. We always come around afternoon and evening. Never again im I going here made me wait 25 minutes for my order and then charge me $20 per plate supposed to be a dish with three meats fajita style and I get one slice of meat one half of a sausage and half a chicken breast for $20 that’s crazy I told her and she told me yeah a personal order but yet the picture they have is a bis plate and amounts I even asked if they had an order for 2 like the picture she said no anywhere else you get that for $36 with good amounts of meat guess I learned my lesson.

Me and my husband love this place. They have an authentic and tasty tacos. The servers are kind and always make us smile when we go there. They have a really good service for everyone so we keep coming back every week. Please visit them when you can.

This place was amazing! It was so damn good I couldn’t get any pictures. I enjoyed the #1 with asada beef, hubby got the #5 with asada beef as well and although they say it’s fit for 3 tacos, it’s really made for 5! Norman was very nice & informative, food came out within 5 minutes and it was nice and fresh!! They really don’t mess around at Taco Azteca

The carne asada torta (Mexican sandwich) was huge and fantastic. Took a bit to get it (not ridiculously long), but it was well worth the wait. The fries they serve with it are some of the best I’ve ever had also.

Experience the authentic taste of real Mexican-style tacos! The service here is fantastic, and the tacos are absolutely amazing. I tried the pastor and fajita tacos, and they were incredible. My wife had the burrito, and it was equally delicious. I highly recommend this taco spot – you won’t find tacos like these anywhere else in the Roanoke area!

Overpriced and Underflavored
This is not quite what I was expecting. They don’t have their prices posted so there’s no clue what something costs without asking. I ordered the #10, two burritos with beans and rice with a horchata. It came out to just under $19. That seemed high but I went with it. There were a few people waiting for their food, wait but good food is worth waiting for. When i got my meal, it looked just as expected. Unfortunately, there was very little flavor. Based on other taquerias I’ve been to, I expected more flavor. Even the Horchata seemed to lack something.
If I had read the reviews prior to going, I would not have. It seems a little sad that the owner responds with personal attacks when a bad review is left.
