Disappointed, my wife and I ate lunch there. I ordered the country fried steak, lima beans, coleslaw. My wife wasn’t very hungry and ordered a simple grilled cheese. The portion of my country fried steak was very small. The lima beans were extremely salty and inedible. My wife’s grilled cheese was also very salty. She believes that it was cooked on a dirty grill or the same grill as everything else. The only positive note was the waitress, she was amazing. This is the only reason I gave two stars. We aren’t going back.

Eating here was like going back in time. This place reminds me of what diners were like when I was a kid. 5 stars for atmosphere! Pancakes were delicious and waitress was very attentive. We also really appreciated that the cooks agreed to let us order from the breakfast menu even though we were late for breakfast.

I definitely won’t be dining here for breakfast again. This place has seemed to fall from its former glory. Although the service was great, everything else did not meet expectations. To list a few problems with my visit, they had no bacon, the link sausage was terrible, the bathrooms reeked of cigarettes, my pancakes were flat, barely done, and had no size like they used to. I also asked for chocolate chips on my pancakes and were given none, although my waitress did try to mend that problem.
My waitress was fantastic and tried her best to make my visit pleasurable, but the cooks clearly did not want to keep me as a customer. If they did, they should have given me a breakfast worth my money.
My advice, if you want a good breakfast you should go to the Waffle House across the street.

This is a “ mom and pop” cafe . It was really good for the price point , the server was very sweet and attentive. The food portions were BIG . We will definitely be back .

I have many fond memories of dining at this restaurant with my mother and grandmother. We would often meet here for breakfast and lunch, and I always made sure to order the hamburger steak. It’s a dish I highly recommend – it’s a 10/10 in my book! Unfortunately, I haven’t been back since my mom and grandma passed away, but I still find myself craving their food.

I couldn’t decide between the breakfast burrito or french toast, so I ordered both. Portions were large for the price and I was unable to finish either one completely. Both were delicious, maybe even the best french toast I’ve had in all my travels.

This place was very good. They give you a lot of food for the price. Very reasonable prices and the waitress was very friendly. The food was great. The jalapeño cheese rolls are delicious.
