Don’t miss this special cafe where the locals love to go! The owner here is hands on and is very personable with the guests which makes you feel like part of the family. The food is awesome and very economical. Some of my favs are the chock full Meat lovers omelet, their Reuben, and awesome onion rings to name a few. Hard to choose between the seasoned home fries or hash browns as both are so good. Their coffee is very good too. Lots of daily specials. They have an all you can eat Fish fry on Fridays during certain seasons of the year. This place is cash only so bring some money and have a great breakfast or lunch!

We have finally found a local place to frequent for great food at reasonable prices. The all you can eat fish fry on Friday is a great catch for $11.99 and don’t get me started on the breakfast you can get for less than $10. I have visited enough lately that the owner greets me by name.

Came to Katie’s for a Saturday breakfast before grocery shopping. When we arrived it was packed and they found seating for us quickly. It was very obvious that there were many regulars but I don’t feel like the staff treated us any differently. The staff was keeping up with the rush with smiles on their faces and helping each other out. They were all so kind and made the experience better.
Now for the food! The french toast was so good it was like my mom made it! Bacon was crispy and eggs were cooked as ordered! The home fries were cooked perfectly with nice seasoning. We were at the counter by the kitchen and everything that came out look and smelled really good. The menu definitely has options for everyone!!
The food was very comforting and great quality for a good price. The staff were all very friendly, funny, and attentive. We will definitely be back!

What a lucky find. This place was great! I had the 2x2x2 breakfast and my hair and a BLT with fries and 2 iced Teas. $25 and we only left crumbs.

I eat here quite a few times a week. As it’s close to where I live and I like to support small businesses . Sometimes I get the food and it’s great. I don’t know who was in the kitchen today but my Blt wasn’t good. The bacon was burnt and one side of the sandwich had no bacon on it despite me getting xtra bacon. I do that bc of the inconsistency when I order here. Like I said sometimes it’s great and other times it’s not. I work in restaurants so I get it. But the sandwich I got today was one of the worst I’ve had there. It’s a small breakfast place and they get busy so I get it. There just needs to be more consistency in the food that’s coming out of the kitchen. No one wants burnt crumbled bacon on their sandwich . I couldn’t even eat it.

Other reviews complained feeling like an outsider, but I absolutely loved that the servers and manager/owner knew so many patrons by name. It shows that they have a loyal customer base and they take the time to know their regular diners. Makes me want to go back again and again. And they were just as friendly to us. Thankful I found this great place. .

First time and had a wonderful experience today. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Tried the club sandwich and was allowed to get rye, wheat, and sourdough breads for the triple decker party in my mouth experience. All ingredients were fresh and well balanced. I will come back to try other menu items!

How have we never seen this place? It’s right around the corner and such an awesome diner. First off, it was packed most of our visit. Despite it being busy, the staff was welcoming and super friendly! All the staff had smiles on their faces, and even the owner went table to table and was engaging and personable. To me, customer service is just as important as the food and this staff excels.
The food was enjoyable, and I highly recommend the cheesy delight breakfast hash. OMG, yummy. Prices are super reasonable.
Mainly indoor seating but few tables outside.
This is a cash or check ONLY business. They do have an ATM inside and charge $1 to use. We will definitely be back.
9/24/21 grabbed a quick bite before my afternoon shift. They closed at 2 pm, so it wasn’t so busy. I had breakfast and my husband, the Cuban. I didn’t disappoint. The staff were just as pleasant and friendly as last time.
12/21. It’s always a great experience all around.
1/30/22 Katie’s kitchen scramble delicious. Had the grilled cheese potatoes….becuase you just have to….with raisin toast. Hubby ordered the breakfast burrito…..it was average. He will order something different next time…..he’s enjoyed other items more as always the owner interacts with all the customers and welcoming….our waitress wasn’t in the mood to work today….nursing a hang over we overheard her say

My experience here one Sunday after church was that many others had the same idea I did… there were five parties waiting when I arrived. A sassy English gentleman working at hosting told me to hang out in the front and that he didn’t need a name. I did, and he didn’t. He was on top of it… joking with customers while hustling around bussing tables and serving plates. He quickly cleared us a table out front on the sidewalk, and seated us. It was a little awkward to eat surrounded by the waiting patrons, but the great service and excellent food quickly offset any qualms I may have had at the onset. I recommend the eggs Benedict to anyone who likes them. Made with ham instead of Canadian bacon, but otherwise standard, well-prepared, and excellent. The restaurant is small and homey, but nice. Prices are fair.
