Excellent Italian food and service! Our drinks stayed refilled, the appetizers and entrees arrived in a timely manner, and the food was hot and delicious. The only 2 annoyances were the phone constantly ringing and the chairs were hard. Otherwise, the food and service more than made up for any minor annoyances.

The meal was great. Absolutely 5 stars for the food. Hands down the best tomato sauce I’ve had in a long long time. The service was great. They have gluten free pasta for all their dishes which was a pleasant surprise. My reason for only 4 stars was that we were told at the end that the wifi was down and they couldn’t take credit cards. Then they wanted to write down the card information and run it later. Then they wouldn’t take a check. We had to go to the ATM down the street to pay the bill. I feel like this should have been made very clear by the hostess before we were seated.

Tried this place for the first time. Decent food, very nice wait staff, clean restaurant. I’d love to give it higher stars, however, we experienced something I personally can’t deal with. An employee or owner seated himself at the table behind me and proceeded to video chat very loudly over his phone for approximately half our meal. It was distracting, annoying, and made conversation at our table nearly impossible. I noted another review on here mentioned something about noise. I wonder if it was the same issue. If that could be stopped, I’d be able to recommend this without hesitation.

Superb authentic Italian meals, pizza, and desserts, personable service (even when labor is hard come by), and non-Italian choices for those who prefer. Starla sees to it that all goes well. It has been our Italian go-to since 2008, and there are several choices.

Beautiful building, decent food, friendly staff. We called ahead for seating but wasn’t informed the air conditioning was out it was around 85° inside. I had the veal Verona the veal was bland & tough, my friend had the eggplant parm it was really good…looks like a great place just had an off night for me & my food…we had worked in 100° heat all day so the ac was hard for me but I heard the tables near me discussing it too

Ordered food to be picked up and only got the entree – not the salad & not the dessert. Wouldn’t even post if this was the 1st time, but this is the 3rd time. Previous times I was along to look in the sack and confirm what we had. This time only my husband went & he didn’t ck. We’re only in the Lake Fork area every couple of months and enjoy Verona’s food- but pick up service is terribly lacking. ALWAYS CK before you leave – it’s too time consuming to drive 12 miles round trip to pick up what the restaurant forgot.

Ac not working properly, we were miserable sitting in that place burning up. Take out orders were delaying service for everybody dining in. Multiple other tables got up and walked out. Food was good when we finally got it. Refills non existent. Service very unorganized and over worked.
