I went to this place twice this week, while driving for the Amish. My wife and I enjoy Mexican style restaurants and this place did not disappoint. The wait staff is a bit slower than I’m use, but they are polite and don’t make mistakes. I got the Steak Burrito that was smothered in cheese and a Charro dessert. All for under $20. Tasty, filling, and great ambiance. You could choose an outside, or bar seating, as well as a more intimate inside veranda style… Very quint place.

The food was amazing! I got a Chicken Fajitas for $7.25 and a Mango margarita for only $1.99 for a Tuesday lunch special and it was totally worth it. The plate was filling and everything had a punch of flavor! The margaritas were alright, but pretty good for the price I paid!! They also have lots of lunch specials and drinks specials for different days! Servers were friendly but had some communication issues, not sure if they had trouble understanding English or the menu. Overall a great value experience!

Basic cookie cutter Americanized Mexican food. You can choose from a extensive menu of items found in nearly every other ‘Mexican’ restaurant out there. The food was good, the service friendly and quick, and the establishment clean. Just nothing over the top special. Would I go again.. yes… IMO all reviews should start at 3 stars and stars are lost or gained.

Super chicken burrito was quite large with A LOT of chicken inside. There was to also be guacamole in it but it was left out so I asked for it on the side.
The receipt indicated higher prices than the menu so I inquired about it. I was told a 4% fee is added into the menu price if a card is to be used for payment. This information is not stated on the menu, on the table I was seated at nor on the door. When I asked, there was a tiny note on the counter where payment is accepted.
I feel this is misleading. How many people leave cash on the table for payment and do not look at the receipt except for the total?
I will not be dining there in the future.

Updated: The salsa has lost it’s flavor and was too watery. Service was great, we had a wonderful bubble waitress. The food was good, but not the best. We were on our annual “taco tour” and this place took forth out of the four places we visited.
Review from 2017: Good salsa. Food was a bit Americanized. Staff was down right rude. I was expecting more from the great things I’ve heard about this place.

Tasty Mexican food! I had the fried chimmiechanga with steak and a margarita. Left the restaurant fat and happy! Steak was seasoned and shell was crisp. Large portions. The rest of my group had a chicken dish and another with shrimp. They were pleased. Tables were spaced appropriately with a large new addition, staff wearing masks, and a lot of take out orders flying out the door. I’ll be back soon!
