An absolute gem of an upscale neighborhood restaurant! Every visit (and there have been many) has been nothing short of exceptional. The specialty menu is creative and perfectly executed, each dish feels thoughtful and unique, never gimmicky. The crafted cocktails are some of the best in the city: balanced, inventive, and made with real care behind the bar.
What truly sets this place apart is the service. The bar team and servers are genuinely warm, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever being stuffy. They are welcoming, make great recommendations, and make every evening feel special. Whether you’re perched at the bar for drinks and small plates or enjoying a full dinner at a table, the experience is consistently outstanding.
If you’re looking for a refined yet welcoming spot with incredible food and drinks, look no further. Already counting down the days until my next visit!
Dessert was too small.
Briefly- this place is excellent on all fronts and certainly worth a visit!
Service was efficient, kind, and very helpful- I really like when the staff can provide their own personal recommendations. The cocktails were unique and quite delicious. Although not the best espresso martini I have ever had (that goes to Fin Point, in Boston, MA), this is the best I have had in Rochester. The Frenchie— let’s just say, this was enough of a reason to visit again.
Appetizers were excellent- the mussels, again, are the best I’ve had outside of New England. The ricotta toast was perfect and the duck was beautiful with a nice citrus flavor. Everything we ordered was perfection— from portion size, preparation, flavoring, and textures.
This will surely be a place I plan to visit very soon. I can’t get over a place like this is in my own backyard! Prices are extremely reasonable— and the ambiance is relaxed, understated, sophistication.
This is an excellent place for a group or a special night out-
Although the waiter offered to reheat it, it was still served cold again. In total, I waited about an hour and a half while everyone else had already finished eating. When I explained that I no longer wanted the extra egg due to the long wait, I was still charged $6 for two extra eggs (although he said he would bring one). When I went to ask why there were 2 eggs charged he replied by saying ”I am not taking anything off the bill”. I must say, one of the eggs was later removed from the bill though in a rather ironic manner. Our cappuccino and latte also arrived cold.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but the service was extremely slow and the waiter handled the situation unprofessionally. If the waiter had handled the situation better I wouldn’t had left this review, however professionalism is key when working in customer service.
