I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after a terrible experience on December 19th (where we were served a literal ice-cold hot dog and a completely botched Flamethrower burger). We decided to have grace and try again today. Never again.
If you enjoy waiting an eternity for food that is both incorrect and physically unappealing, this is the place for you. We ordered a simple kids’ burger—just pickles and ketchup. It took the kitchen three tries to get it right.
Attempt 1: A double cheeseburger loaded with everything we didn’t ask for.
Attempt 2: A burger with cheese and mustard.
Attempt 3: They finally got the toppings right, but by then, the rest of the meal was a lost cause.
The sides were the final nail in the coffin. The fries were limp and dripping with oil, and the cheese curds were cold, rubbery, and soggy. It’s truly impressive to fail at both temperature and texture simultaneously.
The only person in that building who seems to know what they are doing is the cashier. She was very nice and tried her best to fix the kitchen’s constant mistakes, but she deserves to work somewhere that actually values quality. We gave them a second chance, and they spent it proving they don’t care about the customer’s experience. Save your money and go literally anywhere else in Stayton
She said, if you want it in a Sunday cup you have to pay for a Sunday also. I tried to tell to her I would buy the cup but she was so busy putting on a show for the other employees then closed the window and walked away. I could hear her making sarcastic remarks about me.
I have never been treated with such rudeness and disrespect.
I tried to wait and get her name but no one would come back to the window. At one point I did tell her that I was going to speak with the manager and was told, “go ahead, she’ll just agree with me.”
Ordered two Double Cheeseburgers. Took one bite and threw them both out. Tasted of stale grease. I was sick the rest of the evening. Not sure if the meat had turned or if the cooking conditions were poor but I will not be returning and urge anyone reading this to stay away.
P.S. – To the supervisor talking bad about the owners docking her pay for inventory issues (presumably for re-making someones awful order), if I could hear you yelling your frustrations back into the kitchen through the CLOSED drive-through window, then I’m sure everyone in the lobby could also hear you. The only thing worse than her toxic attitude was the food.
Now I am there to pick up cake I ordered on Tuesday to pick up today, Friday 8/29 at 2 pm. I received a message earlier this morning that there was a question about decoration of cake and a phone number left for me to return call. I had been calling that number all morning and it just rang and rang, no voicemail.
Young man can’t find the cake and says we don’t have any. I asked for manager. He shuffles off and some young girl comes up and I have to tell her the whole story again. Asked to see manager and she gave me an annoyed look and walked off. Young man comes back and says they are making the cake now. No I want to talk to manager. Oh she is getting cake done. Lady comes out with cake and I told her I was not happy. Instead of saying sorry we made a mistake, she questions if I really called back because the phone is right where she can hear it and it never rang. Well my phone shows I called that number 4 times thru out the morning. Well just got more reasons why the customer was wrong.
The cake was a regular blizzard cake with a very high price tag. Don’t both to get any of their desserts here, not worth the price or grief.
