The Feeling California
There were only two employees working, and they were clearly doing their best. This isn’t a reflection of the staff at all — it seemed more like an understaffing and operations issue. Online pickup orders appeared to be prioritized, as the pickup shelf was full while in-store customers continued waiting.
We understand it’s the holiday season and places can be short-staffed, but longer-than-normal wait times should be communicated upfront. Clearer expectations and more staffing would really improve the experience. Hopefully this was just an off day.
Walking through the restaurant I sneaked glances at the food on people’s plates. I saw amazing looking tacos which appeared to be unique and different, nothing ordinary about this food from what I could see.
I don’t live in the area and I was trying to figure out how I could get another salad before I left town the next day. I did learn that there are multiple locations but unfortunately I don’t think there are any in California! This is definitely a place worth going out of your way for.
