Avant Lard Travel – by Houston Porter
We have been visiting Pourhouse since they first open, sometimes on foot, sometimes by car, and even sometimes via kayak, and love ever experience we have here.

The beer selection is amazing, both on tap, as well as in their coolers, where you can select cans/bottles either to drink here or to take home with you.

And the space is comfortable (even on a stormy winter’s day) and the staff, especially Virginia (…or is it Victoria?) who was friendly and welcoming and was a lot of fun to chat with. (We visited three times this holiday season and she was there two of the three times.)

Very nice brew pub with delicious pours and a great selection, even craft beers to go by crowler or cans! My partner was also they had cider selections
Perfect, scenic patio for our pup and a large parking lots for our Sprinter van.
Highly recommend!

Dog friendly, fresh delicious beer. They have snacks but no meals. They have a great beer selection and very friendly and professional staff. We really enjoyed our visit, we loved the outdoor patio seating. Beautiful scenery. We look forward to returning when we are back in town.

We were in town to catch the ferry the next morning, and stopped for drinks. Two things you must know – they have only beer and wine (no spirits) and they close at 10 PM !! There are not many bar options in town, so we stayed. Drinks are reasonable, the clientele seem like locals, and the bartender was great. There is an outdoor area that looked nice, but it was too cold and windy tonight. If you’re accustomed to big city nightlife, this isn’t it. But if you want a drink in a relaxed atmosphere, you’ve found it.

Long time favorite spot right on Port Townsend Bay offering FULL PINTS/POURS, a real-time beer menu (live via a webcam), a well-balanced variety of beer styles with an amazing selection of to-go offerings right on the water. Need I say more? I’ve been patronizing this establishment for over a decade now and cannot thank them enough for having their offerings live via webcam. It’s just that easy! I also praise them for not cheating customers with wacky glassware, non-full pours & the laziness of not offering an online menu. Instead, they keep it simple with snacks, amazing beers & friendly staff every time I visit! Pourhouse is lovely on a sunny day, but great in any weather and there’s always interesting boating activity to view from the outdoor seating area. I often grab food from 123 Thai Food just a block away as outside food is welcome. Thank you for keeping it real & CHEERS!!!

The best beer selection around – by far! Also the friendliest atmosphere you’re likely to find in Washington State.

I never visit Port Townsend without also visiting Pourhouse

Love visiting this establishment when I come to Port Townsend.. The view of the back seating area is relaxing and refreshing.. place your order at the bar then relax at a picnic table enjoying the view of the bay. Watch the ferry dock at the terminal. Or watch the local sail boats..

Sep 2022 – Twice this week to one of the better beer gardens in the state. Chairs are a great addition to the picnic tables. The great rotating tap list continues accompanied by great service. IMO the can prices are too high at $17-$20 for a 4×16. Parking can be a challenge, but not if you’re willing to walk a block or 100-200 yards.
May 2021 – Two days in a row. This is one of the most comfortable beer gardens we been to in WA. Nice drink menu covering all the bases. They have wine, Meade, and cider also. You can bring food in. They have close to 100 canned varieties to go. The rest rooms are unisex and clean. Great service from a knowledgeable bar staff. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up. TY

Love LOVE The Pourhouse! The ability to bring in takeout really elevates the whole place, beyond the fantastic outside seating. There’s inside seating too, which is nice, but PoHo is theeeee place to be in the summer. Every beer that I can call my favorite was first enjoyed from one of their rotating taps. Snacks on site are limited but there’s delicious Pho and Thai a block away that delivers. It’s dog friendly and right on the water. I wish more places like Pourhouse existed. Plus they have a good selection of bottled & canned drinks you can procure.
