Reviews
Ordered a tandoori mixed grill and a chicken biriyani and two naans.
To start off , the mix grill was ok. They asked if we wanted papadam and we said sure. My wife ordered a couple of naans and these usually are served as an accompaniment just like the papadam . Unfortunately the food was mediocre for an Indian restaurant. The condiments that consisted of mint chutney, tamarind sauce and onion sambol absolutely had no taste of any of the spices but instead it was just colored green with yoghurt . Taste wise no comparison to the original Indian condiments. Maybe good for folks who have no idea of Indian dishes.
This review is in no way trying to tarnish an image but merely pointing out what is really authentic Indian gourmet.
I was charged for papadams and condiments as these usually come with the main courses .
Service was ok but can be improved. Atmosphere and ambiance were good. Room for improvement.
The owner is a fantastic host who’s always happy to help, and the staff is kind and polite. Every visit leaves me happy and satisfied. This place truly deserves more than a 4.0 on Google. Highly recommended!
There might be only one waiter working, and he’ll focus on whatever he personally finds more important — not necessarily the paying guests who came to eat.
The staff speaks poor English and can’t explain the dishes, assuming that simply naming them in Hindi is enough.
If you’re not ready to wait, guess and fend for yourself, this restaurant isn’t for you.
Very large and airy restaurant with big windows, very modern decor. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly.
Portions sizes were very good and the dishes were perfectly cooked & spiced. Lots of choice and several dishes we have not seen elsewhere.
My chicken tikka masala was juicy & tasty in a thick aromatic sauce (I had mine spiced up a little) – perfect.
Quality ingredients are obviously used.
Highly recommend this Indian restaurant.
The food was delicious, especially our lamb, while the service was pleasant throughout. Definitely recommend!
Went to complain to the manager, only to find that he WAS the manager! We walked out, disgusted by the way we were treated.
This was absolutely shocking and unprofessional behaviour and is a shame because the food was all halal and we would have happily returned.
