I’ve been working away from home for the last several weeks. Unfortunately this means I eat out a lot. I’ve tried several local places and haven’t really found a good pizza. That changed this evening! Schmidy’s baked a delicious meat pie that was covered in gooey cheese. The crust was light and fluffy. The pizza sauce was very good. I recommend giving it a try and taste it for yourself!

I used to love their Italian beef ate here twice a week at times and we don’t want out often last time I went the Italian beef were almost half the size and tasted different. It was still good just went be going out of my way to grab it anymore probably wouldn’t go back but in this small town they do have the best Italian beef, for an $8 sandwich you should definitely get more meat, hopefully they go back to how they used to make it and I will be an avid customer again

They had a salad and pizza buffet. It is okay. The pizza was lacking in flavor.
Was told regular pizza,s were better.
If you are making regular stuff and loading down . While skimping on your buffet . Just for the money. I can go somewhere else.

Hello, I ordered the Beef Italian Pizza and Manho Habnero Wings. As a over the road truck driver it’s hard to find good pizza restaurants. When I ask locals from DeMotte to Morocco about good pizza the majority say “Schmidys.” Italian Beef pizza was amazing. 2nd best I had over the road. Being a Yankee, pizza is Life and Schmidys can hang with best. The cashier was a little tight with the condiments. She did not offer napkins or crush pepper or parm. When I asked she gave me a tiny packet.
The Wings are lightly breaded, big and fried to perfection. The Mango Habnero sauce was overly sweet. But it’s called Schmidys Pizza, not Schmidys Wings.
Overall great experience. They need to atleast give napkins and ask if you need any condiments. *Truckers there is plenty of parking across the street at the truck stop. I can’t remember the name. But it’s directly across the street. I’m not sure about overnight parking

My co-workers and I have frequented Schmidy’s lunch buffet for quite a while. But earlier this week my co-worker was berated by the owner’s grandfather for not eating his pizza crust. Not cool.

I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. Great options and great tasting food! I highly recommend the Cheeseburger Pizza (pickles on pizza is better than it sounds) or the Buffalo Chicken Pizza or the Barbecue Chicken Pizza. All are amazing!

AYCE Lunch buffet is great value and the pizza is pretty good. They also have a small salad bar with a pretty good assortment of toppings…the day I went there was no tomatoes.
