I wouldn’t recommend this location based on my experience tonight. I’ve been coming here for about a year, and it’s never been this bad. It was around 9:20 PM with only about three customers in the entire place and a full staff working. My girlfriend and I ordered two burger meals and still waited 30 minutes, only to receive cold food. We ultimately had to ask for a refund for our food to finally be brought out.I regret not pursuing the refund. Really disappointing experience.

Update: we got food poisoning, we’re not surprised we saw the staff touch trash and then continue to touch everything else from stickers to their till. Was overly optimistic they washed their hands before handling our food, clearly not.

They were very busy so I’ll give them that, I usually try to give the benefit of the doubt to food service people. It is also on us for not checking before we left and our driver didn’t want to turn back. But the only items we received that were correct were our drinks. We ordered 3 meals but only received mozzarella sticks, jalapeños poppers, and a burrito of some sort. Just wasn’t a good experience after being on the road for 13 hours with an hour to go after we stopped here.

Apparently a cheeseburger without a bun means throw a cold piece of meat in a hot dog tray and top it with a couple pieces of cheese. No condiments, no toppings. Not to mention it took 20 minutes for them to get that and 3 cups of ice!!!

Absolutely the worst visit to Sonic I’ve ever had! Food was horrible! These are the “New” pickle fries. Surely been sitting there all day! Unacceptable!! Do better Sonic!!

Edit/Update:
The owner truly values and takes pride in his locations. Very personable. He remedied my frustrations with communication and care to make sure I knew there would be more of a stance in making sure this location gives the proper condiments and sauces allotted for the orders; along with alotting me a $20 gift card for Sonic and go try this location again.
All food establishments have hiccups and sad moments with customer care, but this owner shined the light of understanding and wanted to keep my business.

Do NOT waste your time at this location.
I’m writing this review because this location purposely (or do not train their staff) to consistently place dips and sauces in the bag with the order.
I have had to countless times turn around to get the sauce with the order.
Today, I needed a quick snack and went to this location for something quick and hot. Got the mozzarella sticks with marinara. Since it was one item, I grabbed the bag and left from drive thru. Got down the road and there was no marinara in the bag. I had to turn around , which is annoying.
Got to location and the lady at drive thru was unapologetic and I mentioned since the inconvenience of having to come back, I’d like two. She said she would get the one out and the second one would be 27 cents.
My aggravation is this is always happening and inconvenient. I’m over it, and this location has lost my business.
Mark this as a place against customer service, and a headache that can be avoided. When you eat out (even for a snack) you should have a good experience.

Twice before We’ve been here and had to drive off after pushing the button to order and no one assisted us. Said we would try them again since we were on that side of town. When the girl brought my order out I realized that the 2 slushes were missing strawberries which I ordered and paid for. She said she would come out and grab them and fix it. When she brings them back they both were dirty on the outside of the cup from the over flow of strawberry syrup that she dumped on them and didn’t even blend in and the slush wasn’t even slushy it was juice. I drove around to the window and asked for a manager. Some lady comes to the window and says what’s up. I explained to her what the girl did obviously on purpose while also handing her my whole order and asked her to just refund everything back to my card. She leaves the window and then comes back hands me a receipt and says here you go. I had to ask her is this the refund receipt? She said yes. No explanation of what she did, no apology for the inconvenience, nothing! This place is sad. Terrible customer service and bad acts like the one this young girl performed tonight simply because I asked her to fix my order correctly is why businesses end up closing in Orange. Lack of home training and no good management here.

There’s some major malfunction going on behind the scenes at this location, because food and drinks constantly sit on the counter waiting to be brought out while it gets cold or waters down. It’s unfortunate that the app asks you to tip ahead of time because you’ll end up throwing your money away for cold food (and that’s if your order is even right) I fail to see how it could even be a numbers issue as well seeing as there were maybe 11 workers in the building. Maybe the Sonic on Macarthur is worth the extra drive.

everytime i come in, they always do great and are so sweet! I think his name was brandon? he always has great customer service and always gets my order right and food out quick! i look forward to seeing him everytime cause he’s just such a sweet dude and great at his job! always my favorite sonic location around!

Unbelievable wait time. Multiple times this week (3) order was wrong. Last and final visit ordered a cheesecake master shake was given plain vanilla, and told it only comes with cheesecake syrup. When the app i ordered it from said otherwise. This place is complete and utter trash. At least after showing the app and receipt it was made better, but without cheesecake chunks ( which is in app ). All three times have been horrible. Even with what looks like a full staff. Don’t go to this location. No where in photo from app says cheesecake syrup only. I go to sonic at a different location and city often, and it is a pleasant experience. This one is just horrible.
