This place is a “hole in the wall”, “ma and pa”, local family restaurant with some delicious home grown southern comfort foods. Meatloaf, catfish, etc. Most items you receive two sides of your choice. And guess what?! The kiddos get an ice cream cone/bowl, flavor of their own choosing, included with their kids meals. Great deals. (Ho cake or cornbread pancake as an optional bread side.)

Sign says they close at 8 but in reality they close whenever they feel like it. I tried to come in to grab a quick milkshake 10 minutes before close and they had locked doors and were counting down the register. Wouldn’t even look up to apologize about closing early. Looks like I’ll have to start getting my nightly milkshake somewhere else if I work late, even if I can make it before when they say they close. Very disappointed.

We stayed 3 mins away in an Airbnb, and we found this place online and ate there before we checked in. We ended up eating there 3 times during our 2 night stay. The service was good. The food was delicious. The servings were generous. If you have a chance, you should check it out!

I love old fashion diners. The service is good and foods are excellent. I had BLT and chillies. Hubby had the special of the day, open face roast beef with 2 sides (okra and green beans). Everything was very good. We would come back!

I have been to the Little Dipper several times now. My daughter introduced us to the place. Love supporting small non franchise businesses. The food has been great every time . Pleasant mature ladies who work very hard. Great breakfast and burgers . I will be back hopefully many times in the future . Great food at Great prices . Thanks .

The food is good, service is good and friendly. The atmosphere is homey. Just like in my youth. I like coming here. I used to live in Blaine but moved. I had an appointment then came here. I had a club sandwich with fries. I love the fries as they are nice and big. The food was very fresh.

I live about 4 minutes from here. I’ve always had good service. The food is good and the waitress is nice and amiable. I came in for breakfast a few times. They don’t put butter in their toast unless you ask them. But I like them this way as I dip them in the yolk. The only thing I don’t like us that their breakfast are served till 10 am. Given that I don’t always wake up early it would be nice to have them serve it till at least 11am.Their dinners are good. I’ve come here with my husband (mostly alone though).
