We had some great food here. The portions are big and our server came by many times during the meal to make sure we were doing OK. The place has a mixed crowd with something for everyone. There are pool tables in a separate section, a bar area and a sit down area to eat at. They had Karaoke while we were there and we had a good time.

This is a very cozy place with a warm atmosphere of fun. It is not just a bar! I came for the food because the menu had a lot of variety. I hairnet upon the most helpful server who was very attentive (Amanda). Our party of four visited on Sunday evening and enjoyed a game of pool while we waited for our food. Yes, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Our party had fried pickles, which were not too salty. Chicken wings cooked to perfection. A delicious lump crab cake that tastes like it came from Maryland. A big Cesar salad that was tossed in dressing with cheese. The grilled vegetables were delicious and not soggy. The creamy crab soup was really close to she crab soup with a cream base. We also ordered a create your own burger, which was made to order. All the food was delicious. This is an excellent choice for good food in a relaxed environment. I can’t wait to visit the area again for this delicious food.

What a great little hidden gem! My husband and I ate dinner there and were pleasantly surprised with the food, service and prices. I had the shrimp flatbread and my husband had chicken tenders
( which looked and tasted like they were hand battered in house). Both were delicious. Spacious dining area with booths, tables and high top seating. Next time we are in town, we will definitely stop by on a weekend. It seems like the weekend vibes are great. They have darts, a pool table, a stage and plenty of tv’s to watch the game. I would highly recommend you sit in Time Out!! You deserve it!

Just discovered the Time Out Tavern, great food, service and atmosphere! The fried shrimp were plentiful and delicious! The Philly Cheese Steak was great as well! Next time I’ll try the Flatbread pizza! Update! Tried the chicken parmesan with fettuccine, and the scampi over fettuccine. Absolutely delicious, and far exceeds the local Italian Restaurants! The dessert, worth every calorie! 2 brownies with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, yum!

We ate here for the first time with a large group of 12 Friday night. This place reminded me of the places I hung out in around Badin Lake 40 years ago. Nothing fancy but the food was very good. The of us had a burger and fries. It was the best burger I’ve eaten since we moved down here 6 years ago. Other folks had the shrimp burger and said it was very good. Two of the guys had the “Tonchos”, taters tots smothered with toppings of your choosing. Neither one of them could finish the entire plate. They were a bit understaffed but the food was worth the wait. PBR’s were $1.75 and they had a decent draft selection and a full liquor bar. Several of the girls had margaritas and said they were not shy with the tequila. We will definitely go back.

Nice sports bar. They serve Beer, Wine and Spirits. Three poll tables , Many TVs. Plenty of seating inside and outside seating. The food is really good, it’s cooked fresh to order. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Handicap parking, access and seating. Restrooms are clean and orderly.

Stopped in for lunch as we were headed to Beaufort from Raleigh. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Decent beer list. We got the grouper bites and a fried shrimp basket. The grouper bites were generous, fried maybe a tad too done for the thinness of the fish used. The remoulade sauce with the grouper was really good. The shrimp were excellent as well as the fries. Typical bar decor.

My husband and I had lunch here today. Angel was our server, she was amazing! Friendly, on top of everything without hovering while also manning the bar. The food was phenomenal and super fresh! We live in Jacksonville, but will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!

Our ladies group went here for lunch today. The food was great. Tried the fried cornbread and if I could give it 20 stars I would! Cat, our server was great. She explained the menu, specials, etc. Answered all our questions and came to the table often to check on us.
