Everything I’ve tried so far has been DELICIOUS!! Kalbi beef is definitely my favorite menu item here, as well as one of the best kalbi beefs I’ve had in LA county. I also enjoyed the breakfast plate with the sausage. The wait for food is a little long, but the food is made FRESH & in great portions, so it’s definitely worth the wait. I recommend ordering on the app ahead of time so you can skip the wait. Staff has always been friendly and helpful! Atmosphere at the restaurant is casual and cozy. Can’t wait to finish trying everything on the menu!

The food has fairly low variety compared to Ono Hawaiian. Sadly restaurants will be compared and that chain seems better. The cashier was really nice though, even made an effort to speak Chinese. If you prefer service over food you might like this place more; the food is by no means bad but less variety and, as other reviews pointed out, lots of bones or hard textures compared to other Hawaiian places

Edit: 7/21/25. I ordered the island beef ribs, and was absolutely disappointed. When I first came to this restaurant I saw this item ordered and it looked so delicious. I ordered this item twice before and both time the ribs were full of meat and super juicy and you couldn’t even close the container because of the size of the ribs and meat on them. They would plastic wrap the container closed to prevent from opening. Well, i decided to order the ribs again since my family had gone out of town and I wanted something good to eat by myself and didnt mind spending the money because this restaurant would give a good amount of food. I ordered on the app and was on my way home from work and wanted to pick up food so I could get home and have a full belly and rest afterwards…. I got home and was greatly disappointed. There was hardly any meat on any of the bones. I spent over 20 dollars for a meal for myself of just bones, rice and macaroni. I was absolutely disappointed to the point t that im not even sure I want to come back again. The food was good when they first opened, but if the ribs are gonna be like this, does that mean that the rest of the food is gonna go downhill as well? Im hesitant because its not just a couple bucks im spending, its over 20 dollars for food for one person. I’ve uploaded the pics of my order and what the ribs look like. Hopefully this can be made right and hopefully no one else ends up with practically meatless ribs.

Ordered the kalbi beef bbq plate and the Hawaiian bbq plate. Both with rice and macaroni. They were both really good and good portion sizes. The prices were decent for the amount given. The cabbage underneath the meats made it seem like there was more, but it was still a good amount. We want to come back again and try the bowls. The cashier was really nice and very helpful. The music was good. We were happy with our food. Can’t wait to come back.

Island big rib, not bad. Sauce is sweet and salty. I did feel splinter bones, I feel my teeth made weird sound. Just need to eat carefully. But other than that, it’s very nice.
