Do not try to come here w/o a flight ticket. Came early to get a drink & get food for my husband’s arrival. A non-ticket person needs to go thru Security to access the lounge. On a Wed at 7pm Security was closed. Waited 30min & called, no response. Kettlehouse Airport website doesn’t include hrs of operation, so maybe they were closed. Wouldn’t recommend!

I’m writing this paragraph in the Missoula Airport at the 25 minute mark of me waiting for my $15 Caesar salad. The cashier seemed confused while entering my order into the computer. She asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomatoes and what type of dressing I’d like. On my Caesar salad. We’re now at the 30 minute mark. Still no salad…
At 33 minutes the cashier came out without her eye glasses on. She called an order number that was apparently incorrect and nobody reacted. I offered to read the order number for her and she agreed. Lo and behold, it was my salad. It’s a premade salad, probably sitting in a cooler waiting to be sold. (See photo)
I don’t know why a premade product took more than a half-hour to be served, but it is an unacceptable duration for an airport. I recommend you either place your order long BEFORE you get hungry, or skip this otherwise promising looking spot for food.

Good burger for value$. Honestly, I don’t expect much from an airport location. Bacon cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and onion was good. Cooked medium to medium well, but a little juice was still flowing. Pleasant people. Sports on the big screen TVs. Very uncomfortable chairs.

The best meal and service I had in Montana. I was flying back to Alaska,the vibe,the service was 20 out of 20. My bacon cheeseburger was better than I served at my restaurant. So wonderful and unexpected. It’s worth it to buy a ticket to anywhere just to eat there. Thank you so much for the friendship and kindness. I appreciate you greatly.

Good beer POS burger. Dry as a buffalo chip off the prairie after a hard winter burger with no attention to any kind of quality beyond a freeze dried bison burger that was microwaved. Kettle House you can do better. $18 for a cardboard burger?!????!

Flying to Seattle from Missoula. I had Meh service on the way out. It is an airport bar. I just needed a spot to unwind.
On the return trip, I sat down to grab a beer while I waited for a ride. It was 95 outside. The bartender ignored me, or just didn’t see me for probably 20 minutes. She was on her phone, and talking with other co worker.
I had to finally move and ask if I could get service. She was super rude about it.
This was my second encounter with this woman. If you need to kill time, this airport bar is not the place. The service is bad, and the food is awful! Why Kettlehouse is letting them use their name is strange! This is not the usual Kettlehouse service, or standard.

This one worker was the nicest person i’ve met in a restaurant. She let me try a sample of the fries which led to us buying it, and she even let us have 2 free sandwiches. People that rate it below 4 stars clearly don’t know what their doing. Simply 5 stars.

Kettlehouse beer is awesome, but the food is below average. I had their turkey sandwich which was pretty dry and bland. Go somewhere nearby like Wheat Montana to grab a sandwich before you get to the airport.

Nice looking place. They serve a Lot of bread/bun with very little of anything. Try someplace else before settling on this dining experience. Unfortunately, this is only place after security that I could find.
