Sue’s is your small mom and pop family dinner. It’s a breakfast and lunch place and the menu reflects that. I got onebif the Sue’s specials which was Biscuits and gravy over American Fries and two eggs. It sounds weird, but is good. It consists of a plate of diced fried potatoes. They put 2 biscuits and the sausage gravy onto of that. It turns out good. I think they do it because the proportion is very generous. The eggs are on the side of the potatoes. I got scrambled. I will go back if I’m in town when they are open.

This was our first visit to Sue’s, and it won’t be our last. Sue’s is a family run restaurant, which is the best kind. Everything we had was great! We both had coffee. Their coffee is so good!. My husband had eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. Their toast is thick, and we found out they make their own bread. I had an farmers omelet and hash browns. You get your choice of a 1, 2 or 3 egg omelet. If you want a breakfast place that won’t disappoint try Sue’s

A hidden gem. I was initially hesitant to eat here based on the outside appearance, I haven’t had a lot of good experiences with small local diners. What I found inside blew me away. Food was far better than I expected and the service was top notch for a small family diner. Homemade toast was amazing, they made mine into French toast.
The prices were reasonable, a real value for the quality of the food.
I grew up just 20 miles from this family owned business that’s been open for 45 years and never knew it was here. I encourage everyone in the area to try this place but it has breakfast hours, 5:am to 2:pm. Haven’t had their lunch yes but I will soon.

Just walked in the door at 11:40 and the cashier rudely said hi folks we are not serving, we close at noon. Maybe we just wanted a cup of coffee! No apology. First time trying this place. Won’t go back! Edit we drove to the Evergreen Inn on 14 mile and were served great breakfast at 11:58 and the service was excellent!!

This place is legit. Best breakfast! The bread is homemade so it’s the best toast you’ll ever eat. They were busy the entire time but no one seemed to have to wait very long for a table.
Most impressed my the young man who took everyone’s order and ran the food. He also was the cashier and remembered what everyone ordered. No need for printed tabs to take to the register. He already had it keyed in and ready as you stood in line. That’s not to say they were understaffed. Plenty of workers. But it’s an efficient production to say the least.
Definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast if you’re nearby.
