Nice Vietnamese food here. Ordered the pho pork and the vietnamese spring roll. They gave a lot of basil leave to eat with the pho, but which some restaurants only offer upon request. The taste is delicious and the prices are affordable. Less than RM100 for 4 pax. Got a lot of variety- noodles, porridge, hotpot, etc. Service is also good.

“I absolutely loved my experience at Hanoi Cafe JB! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a touch of authentic Vietnamese charm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.

The food was amazing — the pho was flavorful and comforting, and the coffee was rich and perfectly brewed. Portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented.

It’s definitely a place I would recommend for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Johor Bahru. I’ll be coming back soon!”

I really enjoyed my early dinner here. The service was quick and very friendly. The waitress helped me to connect to the Wifi. Ordering is so simple, just scan and select from the vast menu on your phone.

My drink came within 5 minutes of order – WOW

My food arrived shortly after.

Very clean and comfortable.I really like the decor.

Food was so delicious and I could tell made from very fresh ingredients.

Definitely will come again!

It was a heartfelt moment when they served tangyuan to every customer who visited today. It was especially touching for those who live far from their families during this Chinese festival. Their coffee is a must-order, and the food is also worth trying. Happy winter solstice.

The service was bad. We ordered four dishes and one never served even after we reminded multiple times and customers ordered after us already finished their dinner. Attitude was bad. Beef hor fun and baguette tasted ok, but fried rice was too dry.
Below our expectations and quite disappointed.

If you’re in town and wants to have Vietnamese food, this place is quite a good option.

You know it’s good when there’s a kid doing homework in the corner table, while aunties next table to you are speaking in Vietnamese.

First time visiting, quite a rare sight to find a vietnamese restaurant in Johor and it’s decent with average pricing!

The noodles are soft and chewy with pretty nice clear soup but honestly it’s nothing special.

The rolls were also just okay.

The coffee was nice and the sweet tea was bittersweet, uniquely delicious!

Thank you for reading my review

one could taste the intense flavour in the Pho Bo (Beef) . Service was attentive as server helped to rear up the coriander/basil leaves yo immerse into the bowl of noodles. vale for money.

Definitely 5/5 for the coffee, just that it is really a small cup.
The beef pho is 3.5/5 and portion is quite small, so better eat with other dishes.
This is personal rating as we prefer stronger taste.
I enjoyed the black pepper udon, very fragrant with capsicums. Atmosphere is clean and fine. We were early so not so crowded. Saw diners coming in after 6pm.
Prices are reasonable, but has service charge and gst. The servers should be Vietnamese and are able to speak Mandarin.
Note that no vegetarian. There are prawn in spring rolls. Not sure if you can tell them to remove.
