Great Menu. Variety choices of burgers, salades and apps. Tots are a must try. Beer selection is on point. Lots of tasty drafts and their own brewed beer is very good. Happy hour and daily specials available.

The food was delicious !!! I had a crazy hankering for burgers and they had it cooked to perfection, not to mention our waitress, Kaitlyn, is pretty awesome! You did an awesome job. It’s a perfect place for a cute, casual date night. Our service was more than stellar. I highly recommend this place, everyone was friendly and personable. The prices are great for the burgers. Also, Hiii Toby! You’re cool!! 🙂 So was our server.

For the price it’s pretty reasonable especially considering where The Rail is located. I had ordered the Bonfire Burger in addition Jalepenos’ with a side of Tater Tots instead of fries. The Tots came to a disappointment, I was expecting a few more than 6. The Burger itself was delicious, it wasn’t as spicy as I originally thought. I did try the sauce on the burger as well, and it added some kick but not enough to make your mouth burn.
The service wasn’t bad and could’ve been a bit better, that’s where the rating plummets down if there were to be more of a attentive team and welcoming it would’ve made a huge difference.
Not bad for the first time for my dad and I.

When looking for a place to eat, this place had me at gourmet burgers and 24 local beers on tap.

After a long drive, a visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and some downtime in our hotel, we took a walk over.

It was an added bonus that our hotel, Aloft and The Rail had a promotion where we were able to enjoy fried pickles (free)!

The beer selection is varied and made it the decision difficult, so I ordered a flight of beer. The bartender, Will, did a great job of selecting. The tangerine kolsch, from Millersburg Brewery was an incredible experience.

The burger menu was equally varied. I settled for the Mojo Burger – a wonderful blended beef and andouille sausage. It was cooked to perfection and had a snappy and enjoyable bite to it.

The shoestring fries that are served with the burger are plentiful and tasty.

My travel partner (teenage son) raved about his burger, the simple and effective Rail Burger with cheese.

On the way back home, he commented he wouldn’t mind eating there two days in a row.

If you find yourself in Ohio, and near The Rail, Id definitely encourage you you check the place out!

Tasty burgers with a variety of toppings, shoe string fries, terrific onion rings, creamy milkshakes and a big bar. Service was very good, friendly and quick. It’s located adjacent to an entrance to Great Northern Mall nearest to the movie theater.

Excellent burgers, great sides, good happy hour (EVERY DAY) and I LOVE that they have the veggie burger option. Great local beer selection too. Service isn’t always the best but if you’re in a hurry sit at the bar closer to the kitchen and you’ll be in an out.

***** Edited to add- within a few min of me posting this and taking the survey the manager called me to apologize. He started he was on the phone after he said he would be back and had some issues that took longer to figure out than he expected. I know the biz and know how fast things can arise. It was nice he called back and apologized and asked how the 2nd burger was gone. He even offered us a gift card for next time (totally not necessary but nice to offer so we can get an app or something if we go back). Changed from 3 stars to 4. Hopefully next time I can give it 5!

We had a wonderful server for sure! She was polite, friendly and engaging! Her name was Netta, and if I ever return I would hope to get her again! I ordered the lunch Cobb salad which was ok, but they left my egg out. My husband ordered a medium lamb burger and it was overcooked and pretty dry. They made another and had the manager come tell us that they have food dye in them and that’s why they wont be pink, and it was being remade. We mentioned to him at that time I was missing an egg in my salad too. He apologized and said he would be back to see how the second burger was. He never did stop back. The 2nd burger was juicy and my husband and I thought way better than the previous one. I wish the manager would have felt more like taking the extra time to come back and assure we were happy as we were there for another 20 minutes and the place was basically empty, but he didnt. Overall I would say we more than likely would return if in the area to give them a second chance but I wasnt impressed with anything but the server- again she was fab!

The draw to the Rail is they specialize in burgers and brews that are homegrown. I had the Mojo Burger. An andouille and beef blend with cheddar cheese and a jalapeño coke slaw. Comes only medium well or well done. I prefer my burgers rare to medium rare, so I was a little surprised by the burgers’ charred outside, but was delighted by its taste throughout. I look forward to taking more time and sampling their extensive local beer menu.

One of my favorite burgers around. Try the naked burger to fully appreciate the quality of the meat!

Garlic Hot Chicken Sandwich is just spicy enough to get your nose running by the end of the sandwich but not so spicy that it punishes you. Perfect blend of spicy with cooling aioli. Bacon ties it all together. Recommended!
