We were recommended this place from a local and we’re happy we checked it out. I was a little worried how busy it looked when we first walked in. Our whole family had a really long day in the vehicle and were tired and hungry. Thankfully the service was quick, the food was good and they had very friendly servers that were great with our kids!
They had a guy playing live music that made it a little loud in there, but it was a Saturday evening and that’s expected. Other days are probably quieter.
We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

Stopped at the Pickles Loon after looking at houses in the area. Food was amazing and staff is very friendly. Won on pulltabs too which made it even better!
Homemade Ruben eggrolls were amazing and the prime rib nachos too! Blueberry mojito can’t be beat!!

The food was great… We ordered different burgers, crab cakes, and enchiladas.
The fries are perfect probably my most favorite.
Worth every penny!!

Good was fantastic! The service was great. We went back twice in a few days. They have brunch on the weekend and lunch and dinner the rest of the week.

What a great experience! We had a family gathering @ The Pickled Loon and the service, the food & the atmosphere are all worth the visit! ONE ITEM OF NOTE to both staff & chef: My wife requested her meal GLUTEN FREE! Our waitress stated “no problem “! Her Caesar Salad arrived with croutons on top (ugh!) and her “Gluten Free” Walleye came with a “dinner roll” slapped right on top of the Walleye (double ugh!). Maybe a “review” with staff as to what gluten free means needs to be addressed.

Small town bar with great view and better food.
I had the prime rib French dip, the au jus was fantastic, prime rib was phenomenal. My wife had the walleye scampi but requested shrimp, they were more than accommodating but probably lot something they would promote. Great food!
For Dessert we had the “Larson’s Bread Pudding” and we both weren’t sure at first but couldn’t put our forks down once it came out. Imagine a cinnamon roll covered in caramel and pralines with more ice cream and whipped cream that you could imagine.

Oh and local beers for me 🙂

This was a great place to stop at for a laid back, easy meal. It was fairly busy on a Saturday night. There were goats outside which provided entertainment. We had side salads and split some walleye fingers and that was perfect! It took a while to get seated, the host seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid us but once we were seated the staff was super friendly!

Made a “loony” cosmo wrong 3 times, when I brought it back the 3rd time and asked for more cranberry juice the horribly bleach blonde lady said “you got a cocktail of course it’s gonna be strong” maybe try to make a cosmo right? It’s your only job? A cosmo is Vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime. The cosmos here are only vodka, don’t recommend. Server was incredibly kind tho the blonde bartender needs a new job
