The food was great! All of the appetizers and drinks were great. Prices were great during happy hour.
We will come back again to try some other stuff.
Staff were all great.
We ordered 3 sodas, 2 apps (mini chimichangas and corn flatbread) for happy hour 6 bucks each. We loved the flat bread but the micro greens did not add anything to the dish and it could have used more Queso Cotija. The mini chimichangas are just fine but not spectacular.
Plain quesadilla, and Shrimp Quesadilla for the kids. The shrimp quesadilla was great.
I had 2 shrimp tacos butnits just one butterfly shrimp with the tail on which is disappointing. The flour tortillas were excellent and home made.
My wife had 4 tacos, 2 adobada and 2 carnitas. All were good.
Ordered 2 Churros for desert but I didnt know there were 3 churros per order and would have only made one order had I known.
Still a great experience and the server was nice and took care of us.
We will be back but I will be more conservitive with the order. I’ve lived in Mexico for 10 years and I grew up in San Diego, raised on Mexican food.
The Bad part, In the end it feels like we got $70 worth of food for a $95 price. A great Street Vendor Taquero in Mexico would cost you $25-$30 and and would taste even better!!!
To be fare we did not order beer because we don’t drink so it was all about the food.
The outside it looks like a mid, normal drive-thru Mexican place but once you go inside it transports you to another place. The decor inside is so cute, very aesthetically pleasing. Brunch was good, my husband had The Temple and I had the Huevos Rancheros. I can speak for the huevos rancheros, they were low sodium (which I liked) and flavorful. The guacamole was good, some flavor was missing, and maybe more pomegranate seeds for the guacamole to pomegranate ratio but the chips were good. THE BEST PART WERE THE DRINKS! Sammy was our server/bartender and she was so nice, great and fast service even though the restaurant was full. She recommended the margarita flight and we ended trying both the mimosa and margarita flight, and they were so good. I wanted to express that the old fashioned that she made is the best old fashioned I have had in Yuma and the best part is that it had the single ice cube. I have had old fashions around Yuma, since they are my favorite drink and this one beats all of them. Only note that I would add is to have cocktail maraschino cherries instead of the red glaze maraschino cherries. The smoked mazapán carajillo was delicious, not overly sweet and the presentation was on point! Bathrooms were clean and girls bathroom is pink (definitely a plus) and lots of parking! We will definitely go back!
Good beer selection though. And service was good.
We will not return.
