The place itself was clean and well-kept, which added to the dining experience. Music was playing but not too loud — just enough to create a pleasant background atmosphere without interfering with conversation. Overall, a solid spot for a warm, flavorful meal.
Their beef pho is undoubtedly the highlight, with a broth that’s rich, flavorful, and well-balanced, without being overly salty or heavy. The portion size is generous, and the ingredients—from the tender slices of beef to the fresh herbs and bean sprouts—are always fresh. While their pho is exceptional, I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of their menu. On my recent visit, I tried the hot stone rice bowl topped with a sunny-side-up egg, and it was a delightful mix of crispy rice, fresh vegetables, and savory protein. The iced drinks, especially the lychee mojito and Vietnamese iced coffee, are perfect accompaniments, balancing the hearty dishes with refreshing bursts of flavor.
Service here is friendly and efficient, with staff members who are attentive without being overbearing. Even during peak hours, they manage to maintain a smooth dining experience, ensuring that tables are promptly cleaned and orders are delivered without unnecessary delays.
Pho Ha #7 perfectly balances traditional Vietnamese flavors with a modern dining experience. It’s a place where you can comfortably enjoy an authentic meal, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a casual hangout spot with friends.
I came to eat and enjoy my food. My cousin and I ordered shrimp and pork spring rolls. After one bite, we knew we did not like them. We asked nicely if we could change them to shrimp-only rolls.
We told the server, Kristine, that we only took one bite. She said nope! Sorry I’m not going to return it because you have already eaten it.
She then said she could ONLY change two rolls, not all of them, and only if we left a review. That did not feel right. I thought this was a joke but she was being serious.
This is not just about the server. This is about management. Management should retrain Kristine on how to talk to customers and how to help them in a kind way.
The food is usually good. But bad service makes people not want to come back.
P.S. Bad service makes a business lose customers. Management should take this seriously.
FOOD, was AMAZING. Their beef pho bowl (BIG BONE Xi QUACH BO #98) is humongous. Super bowl status. The broth was flavorful and the beef bone came with a fair amount of meat on it. In the soup there are beef meatballs. No noodles, but they do give you all the fixings thai basil leaves, bean sprouts, chiles, limes. Hoison and Chili are already on the table along with utensils.
I ordered #39 COM BO LUC LAC which is a beef (marinated beef) dish served with grilled onions & bell peppers. Side of rice and vegetable salad. The beef is cut into bite pieces, it was very tender not hard to chew at all. The beef was marinated just how I like it, with a lot of flavor lol. It’s like a teriyaki marinade. Aside from the beef my other favorite part of this dish was the vegetable salad. It was pickled radish atop pickled carrots, pickled cabbage, romaine lettuce and tomatoes, ALL PICKLED and sooo good.
#50 NEM CUON, grilled vietmanese pork sausage spring rolls were ok. The grilled pork was a litle hard to chew and kind of bland. I couldn’t really taste anything with this roll.
THE PROBLEM…was the service. Albeit, it was a Sunday afternoon, but the vibe was totally not matching the quality of the food bc the food was frickin good! The food also came out in a timely manner for how busy it was btw. But the service was terrible. We kept having to ask for little things like our waters, for scissors, for bowls, for our other drinks like soda and the smoothies we ordered. We just kept having to ask bc they never brought it out to us. My Aunty waved down one waiter and he literally looked at her and walked towards the back ignoring her. I honestly lost count with how many times we asked different waiters/waitresses for things and it never came. Just not a very “welcoming” attitude amongst the servers here. I’m sure they were overstimulated with the busyness of that day bc that’s what it felt like, but I hope they figure out a system that better suits their employees and customers. It almost felt like they were avoiding contact with the customers lol that’s how bad it was my first time here.
Obviously I will follow up and come back for a second visit. My family kept apologizing to me and saying “We swear it’s never like this” and I hope they’re right for my next go around. The food was amazing but the service hindered my first experience here.
Not to mention the girl taking the money and handing you the food was coughing and sneezing everywhere I never saw her change her gloves I don’t want to get sick send her home if she’s sick she shouldn’t be coughing on people’s food and sneezing disgusting I’m going to have to find somewhere else to eat think I’m done with this place.
Just like everything a bit expensive. I wanted a side of egg rolls but it was like $12 more
