The restaurant is well-decorated, clean, and inviting. We had a rough start, waiting about five minutes to be greeted with no one in sight. We were about to leave when we were finally seated by the only waitress on duty. I don’t fault her for the slower service; she was doing her best to keep up with everyone. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the fish and chips—I’m usually not a fan of tartar sauce, but theirs is great. The fries and tenderloins were also a huge hit with the family.

Staff was super friendly and inviting. The waitress didn’t write a single thing down, but our orders came out 100% correct! The triple decker club was huge. The tenderloin was great, and the fries are very good. The decor is fun, but not so over the top that it’s tacky. The front of the restaurant itself is small and unassuming, but it is actually quite large inside.

my second visit to Bookers Alaskan cod fish sandwich and chef salad excellent once again.
The best chicken quesadillas I think I have ever had! Very tasty fresh tossed salad too. Fresh cut filet steak tasted great. friendly service nice clean modern restaurant. very impressed. worth the cost and the drive.

Based on the reviews, i think we caught them on a bad day.
The tenderloins are some of the thickest we’ve seen. Which would have been great if they had not been underseasoned, bland and greasy. It was the greasiest tenderloin we’d ever had. The buns quickly turned to mush, squashing down to the thickness of 2 quarters. We discarded the buns. The onion rings were over fried which dried them out. The french fries got mixed reviews. They were coated in something (maybe flour or some bland spices?). I think this ruins a good fry but others don’t mind. The service was friendly. Overall disappointing. I really do think we just had bad luck as most reviews are great.

We go here a lot. It is close and has great food. The service is always great too! They have a good selection of beer on tap including Mich AmberBock and a full bar with Bookers bourbon obviously! On friday night they have all you can eat fish. They have steaks, wings, burgers, chicken, and fish all are great. Try the fried pickles as an appetizer!
