Good service and good food! Not amazing quality, but definitely enough for a cafe. Lots of seating available, and the staff were very prompt and helpful. There’s free wifi too, and they have a nice bathroom as well! Their food portions are good quality for the price, and their fresh lemonade is rather sweet, but it’s still quite pleasing. Overall it’s a good cafe lol

Really enjoyed brunch here today. They have a great variety of healthy food and drinks. The spinach omelet and quesadilla were both fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

I had the iced dirty chai both times—definitely the best I’ve had. My husband enjoyed a smooth cappuccino with oat milk too.
We’ve heard the garlic fries are good, but we haven’t tried them. The employees are friendly and relaxed.

Tickle Tree Cafe is a delightful breakfast and brunch spot that offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a delicious meal with friends or family.
Our group of seven sampled a variety of their breakfast options, and we were impressed across the board. The breakfast sandwich, served on thick, homemade sourdough bread, was generously portioned and perfect for sharing. The Orange Zest French toast made with brioche bread was a hit, light and flavorful, while the house special omelet and yogurt bowl were both fresh and satisfying.
Prices were reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful and food arrived promptly and fresh!
It’s a quaint place with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend for a relaxed morning meal!

Great cafe, lots of space, Wi-Fi is issue-free. Love sitting outside with the mountains in view, gives a unique feeling to the area.

The food quality & sourcing is better than expected for the area, I like the sweetness of their Matcha Latte.

Great customer service and friendly owners.

Amazing staff! Very friendly, and warm team here. Great outdoor seating; multiple tiers of outdoor sections. Solid menu, and choices. Food was tasty, and fresh. We got the BLAT with garlic fries, and huevos rancheros. Also a chi latte tea (it was of the sweeter variety). Plenty of street parking on foothill and north of foothill. There is a small parking lot (4-6 spots) but it is usually full, and pretty tight. Great neighborhood spot, highly recommend.

Parking is always difficult for me! I was able to find a spot on the street in front this time.

The employees were very friendly and helpful!!

I got the breakfast sandwich and it was really light and refreshing!

It was perfect La Crescenta weather and sitting outside is a nice view of the mountains and clouds. I was feeling the tree theme.

Came on a Sunday. Ordered one chicken sandwich and morning potatoes. Unfortunately it took 42 minutes. Wasn’t even busy. Just slow as hell. The most disappointing thing was there was no apology about the food being late. Almost like it was an expectation that you would wait for some odd minutes. Disappointed.

Great food and drinks/coffee

It is a nice local place to go after a hike or a weekend afternoon.
I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the location- even after the tables were bussed, there was still food and sticky places on the tables and food left on the floors.
The bathroom was not the cleanest either. I will be back, because I enjoyed the location and the food- I feel the prices were just a little higher to be justified, but I would gladly pay it for the great food.

This delightful cafe sits on top of the hill in La Crescenta, just above CVHS. The fare is delicious and the service delightful. I find it a true testament to the quality of food, service, and care of the owner when the employee turnover is low and regulars are well established.
Come for a great meal and good times.
(Indoor and outdoor seating available)

Ordered: Jane’s Breakfast, Orange French Toast, and Pastrami Sandwich w/ garlic sweet potato fries. (Fries come with aioli and can come with or without garlic sprinkled on top)
