ABOUT US: Dim Sum Corner is a San Francisco-based Chinese dim sum restaurant established in 2019. Our cooked-to-order dim sum dishes are prepared as delectable bite-sized portions served in bamboo steamer baskets as a healthier way of cooking, and preserving more nutrients than other methods. Our dim sum can be enjoyed with traditional hot tea or contemporary boba milk or fruit teas. We believe that dining should be a delightful combination of good times and great food. For us, dim sum is happiness, fun, enjoyment, and love. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!

Sum Dim Sum is one of those places where I seriously have to watch myself… because I could easily overdo it on the dumplings

We had the pork dumplings and they were absolutely delicious. We also started with a vegetable bun (I usually go for pork), and wow — it did not disappoint.

We shared the spicy orange chicken (not the combo one), and it was really, really good. Perfect balance of heat and flavor

Shoutout to our amazing server Charlene — fast, articulate, super attentive. She took our order, brought our food quickly, and delivered outstanding service. You can tell this place is well-run and stays busy for a reason.

I love the open kitchen concept. Being able to see the food prepared just makes the whole dining experience better.

If you haven’t visited this spot in Chinatown, I highly recommend you check it out. I honestly want to try everything on the menu. Next time we’re going for the wontons and one of their noodle soups

I enjoyed my visit here and the food. I am giving it a 4☆ mostly because while the food is good, something about it seems like they just weren’t trying to go the extra mile with it, and I have had better dim sum. As well the service, a little slow and inattentive.

The food was good. They have lunch specials for $15. We ordered broccoli and beed, and chicken with garlic noodles, everything was really good. They cooked everything really fast. I forgot to mentioned, that the lunch special includes one drink, we reccomend the passikn fruit tea, was delicious.

Service and atmosphere are very good. Food needs a bit more seasoning, at least for the dish I got, but is still really good. I got the shrimp Chow Mein

I visited this restaurant back in May and had an amazing experience.

It’s a peaceful and welcoming spot perfect for sitting down to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. I ordered the chow mein with pork and shrimp, along with dumplings, jasmine tea, and apple juice. One thing to note: while many Chinese restaurants offer a “House Special” chow mein (with a mix of meats), this place doesn’t list it on the menu. However, I was able to request it, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even better.

I chose this restaurant over others in Chinatown after doing some detailed research, and I’m glad I did. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in San Francisco.

This place is a vibe with its colorful artwork and tasty dishes. I really enjoyed the pork dumplings and pork pot stickers. But the vegetable spring rolls and fried buns with condensed milk were my favorite!

Sum Dim Sum was a straightforward and quick place to eat. I ordered the barbecue pork noodles, and I had no complaints. The ordering process was speedy, and I was surprised by how fast the food arrived. The service was fine. If you visit with modest expectations, the food should satisfy you. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, especially since I could eat something quickly and then continue exploring Chinatown.

Modern dim sum done right! Everything was fresh, piping hot, and flavorful. Don’t skip the Xiao Long Bao or the Rice Noodle Rolls. It’s a bit of a wait on the weekends, but absolutely worth it for the quality.

The server at the counter was helpful in choosing a couple of dishes. The runner from the kitchen dropped the food with a look of frustration and turned around quickly. The food was tasty (scallion pancakes and some dumplings) and just the right amount for my snack/meal. The large size of the dining room and the industrial decor make me wonder if the locals eat here, or is it mainly for groups of tourists?

First time here. I figured when in Chinatown…. Although the service was excellent the food was just good. I’ve actually had better Chinese in Inner Richmond! I ordered the shrimp dumplings and garlic noodles. I hate to be honest but I expected a little better.
