We stopped here for dinner after spending the day hiking around the area.
Honestly, it was absolutely worth the extra drive to the city. The salsa was absolutely amazing. My favorite that I’ve ever had while dining away.
I’m vegetarian and my boyfriend pescatarian, and we were a bit worried that a small-town restaurant wouldn’t have options for us. However, they had plenty of great options for us! The portions were huge! (I posted an accompanying photo of my boyfriend’s head compared to his dinner). The prices were also really great!
My one complaint is that there seemed to be absolutely no respect for COVID guidelines: wait staff didn’t wear masks, there was so social distancing with seating, and that made me a bit concerned. I understood, though, that we were visiting a small town.

Had a good experience here with the extended family. Homey atmosphere. Their salsa and chips were good and they served us an appetizer of grilled cactus, hot pepper, and onions (so good!) Our waiter was a bit slow, but super friendly and entertained the whole family. The only bad thing about our experience was when, in the middle of our meal, all of a sudden, multiple flies appear and bug us for the rest of the time.

This is the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve ever been to! The salsa was really good, chips were fresh and warm, best enchiladas I’ve ever had. I’m pregnant so I can eat a lot and I got full and had plenty to take home. Will definitely be coming back!

So, this is like a week overdue. My boyfriend and I went to eat here last week and when we walked in, we asked the lady how late they were open. She said they were closing early (9 pm) because it had been a slow day. My boyfriend asked me if I still wanted to eat there. Then suddenly, this man came up and said that if we wanted to eat there then he would stay and take care of us. That was so nice and showed us that he really cared about that place and customer service. Not only was the service great, but the food was excellent too!! Many thanks to you for a wonderful evening out.

I travel around the country for work and this place was fantastic. I honestly didn’t think I’d find any decent places around there to eat. Wait staff was friendly and I enjoyed talking to them. The only issue I found was the drink menu needed updating but that wasn’t that big of an issue for me.
