While visiting North Bend, my partner and I visited The North Bend bakery twice. I was surprised to see how late they stayed open on thanksgiving. The staff was super nice and their soft pretzels and chocolate thumb print cookies are delicious.

We went back in the morning two days later. It was super busy when we walked in. The cashier seemed frazzled when we were ordering. We had ordered a couple of pasteries and 2 breakfast items (stuffed croissant and tomato quiche) that they needed to heat up. The cashier gave us our pasteries, but forgot one. No problem, we went back in line and got it. My partner’s croissant came out but my quiche did not. We waited another 5 minutes. I was about to go back in line to ask when one of the workers started calling out a bunch of heated food they had to hand out. I walked up to grab my food and asked her if that was the tomato quiche. She said yes, so I took it.

A few seconds later, she looks my way while talking to a customer and says in an accusatory tone, “she took your quiche.”

What?! I get it you’re busy and stressed but I spoke to you before I took the food item. I shouldn’t be feeling like a criminal getting dirty looks while eating my food when all this was a huge communication issue you started. We all make mistakes. I’ll likely be back and laugh about this later.

Recommendation: Start taking people’s names with their orders.

N Bend Bakery is an awesome, quant little spot right on the North Bend strip. People are always nice, but the real MVP is the maple bars. We do a maple bar blind taste test contest every year at work and someone always brings their maple bars and they always win.

Marking down 1 star because I have had a few disappointing items there. I love a good apple fritter, and theirs tend to be pretty consistently doigh-ey or under cooked. I’ve tried them 3x and always mention this to them before I try it again and am always disappointed. The quiche is a bit meh too.

Otherwise, all of the other doughnuts and cookies are super dope. Very worth the visit.

Their donuts are light and fluffy. Tried their chocolate bar 2 days in a row and the large maple ring with salted Carmel the next day. Also Tried a couple of other pastries I was not impressed by. Both were very dry.

This sweet bakery is a little gem. The classic, inviting storefront door chimes a welcoming bell as you enter and the comforting smell of baking dough prepares you to make your choice of savory or sweet treat.
We chose a blueberry donut and almond croissant – both delicious, though my croissant was particularly satisfying. The bakery cases are not huge but seem to have just the right amount of variety – cookies of all sizes and flavors, donuts, pastries, pies, and savory choices. A loaf of their apple bread caught my attention and we decided to take one to go. This ended up being my husband’s favorite.
The gal at the counter was kind and helpful. This seemed to be popular with the locals. About 10 customers came in during the 20 minutes we were there! The atmosphere had a vintage flair with the checkered floor and hand painted walls.
This was a charming stop and a lovely little local business to support. We’ll be back!

Eat donuts ever! I grew up here. Live in AZ now. Come to North Bend for a few weeks every summer and basically live off North Bend Bakery donuts. Favs are maple bars, croinuts and Apple fritter. Seriously AMAZING! Don’t miss this place. Get some amazing food here. Apple cinnamon bread is really awesome and makes great french toast.

Very disappointing experience. The woman with blonde hair made my drink incorrectly, and when I mentioned it, it didn’t seem to matter. On top of that, my food took an extremely long time to come out. I had to ask multiple times before it was finally brought to me. There was no apology and no sense of urgency. For a bakery, customer service should be much better than this. I won’t be returning.

We’ve been by this place so many times but have never stopped in. On a planned bakery exploring trip, this was one of our first stops. We stepped into the business and were overwhelmed by the decisions we’d have to make. I told the employee, “One of everything.” And we nearly did. I recommend the peanut butter cup cookie, if you’re a PB fan. Several types of cinnamon rolls, both with and without raisins. Donuts, cakes, muffins. Savory items as well. Oh and coffee.

We came across The North Bend Bakery at a neighboring towns farmers market. Come to our surprise EVERYTHING we ordered we were blown away with how fresh and tasty each bite was. We weren’t fond of this bakery in the past so we were surprised to find out it was a place we had already been too. But with the new change in ownership, we believe the bakery will be a hit!!! They pay attention to details and even added some new items to the menu. The only regret here is if you don’t make a stop in!

I’ve been here twice and it’s amazing every time. They have a large variety of baked goods (sweet and savory) so it’s nice to have options. I get something new every time I’m here and haven’t been let down. Not to mention everything is so m
