Made a trip to Yellow Springs with two of my friends on Sunday and decided to try Williams Eatery. We were extremely happy with our whole dining experience. We were greeted with a warm welcome, seated right away and attended to by our server in a timely manner. The art is super unique and beautiful as well! We had picked Williams because they had multiple healthy options and one of my friends has a very restrictive diet. Our server Joey was very understanding about our special requests and made sure all of our meals were perfect. We had the crab cake sandwich, salmon and beef kabobs. They were all amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our food was fresh, our server was absolutely amazing and we will for sure be back to visit again!

Used to be better, but it’s going downhill fast. They have tons of items marked out on their menu.Tacos are awesome, but staff(kitchen) is very unhelpful. I asked for one taco in chicken and one in steak. She said they won’t do it anymore even though I’ve ordered it 10 times just like that. The waitress said the kitchen refused to make it and she thought it was at the owner’s directive. I said I’ll pay the extra money for steak (it’s $2 more) but I just want one with chicken. She came back and said they refused to make it like that. That’s pretty poor service in my opinion and very telling about a restaurant and what they think of their customers. While the tacos are good, I can’t handle a small locally owned restaurant that acts in that manner.

We were here before they changed to a self service place and it has really gone downhill. But, really, what do you expect if you cut your staff to a minimum? Instead of several servers, there is one cashier who also buses tables from time to time and one poor woman running frantically around trying to serve and clear all the tables by herself.
We waited more than 30 minutes for our food (a burger and a chicken sandwich). When it arrived, it was cold, my fries were cold, and my bf’s bag of chips was torn open and looked like an animal had been chewing on it. Just the fact that someone put it on his plate without noticing (or caring) speaks to how far the quality has fallen here. The food was lackluster and service slow. Definitely a disappointment after how good everything was during our first visit.
I assume they did this as a cost-saving measure, but I imagine this change will be the death of this place. We’re definitely never coming back.

A Bates
Lunch time here: I had a burger with jalapeños on it. It was very good. My only complaint would be that it was very cold inside so 4 stars. One friend had one of their chicken sandwiches and she loved it. Another one had French onion soup and she wasn’t impressed. I would eat here again if I’m in the neighborhood

This place was not very good. Cheeseburger was dripping grease and soaked my bun all the way through.Tomato slice was the size of a quarter. Place is run down. Filthy rug in dining area. High chair was a sticky mess. Dining area was hot (83 out today). Cashier was friendly and checked on us a few times. Won’t go back

Food was average but the service was great. Very friendly and went out of their way. Plus they allowed 2 small dogs to eat with us on patio in their stroller. Always appreciate locations outside that allow that, certainly if pets are well behaved.

We ate here two days in a row, the service was great and the food was tasty. We ordered the chicken tacos and the portion was huge. As a side, we had black beans and rice, also very tasty. They made the food as healthy as possible for us.

Excellent and slightly eclectic offerings with attentive service and friendly staff make for a very pleasant dining experience at a reasonable price. This is one my favorite local sit down restaurants locally. They make a Peruvian dish that reminds me of a crab wonton made instead with cheese and hot peppers that is amazing.
