Sabannga is a new Thai restaurant in Uphall Station, West Lothian. The idea to open a Thai restaurant came from a personal love of Thai food and the lack of authentic restaurants in the area. We offer affordable fresh food with original taste providing friendly service with an authentic Thai experience. Food can be ordered for pick up or delivery through our website.

Food and service was . We traveled from Oban (3 hour drive) to go there for my birthday. It’s our third time visiting this restaurant. Thai food cooked authentically. The waitress made it special as she was so so funny but at the same time remained professional, good sales person and she knew how to upsell her restaurant and products. We’ll be back again.

Staff were very attentive – extra helpful and punctual between courses.
The resturant was dimly lit, we could see that this is a popular choice locally and that although we had travelled far it was a good choice for us too.
My husband said it’s possibly the best Thai he has ever had and I would likely agree, authentic flavours and very generous in size too. We don’t usually have any left overs because we love Thai food but were left totally stuffed. Looking forward to coming back possibly with friends next times.

The Tone
Went here today for a meal with my family. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. This is our first time eating here, and it won’t be the last. The surroundings are pleasant, and the prices are very reasonable. Our party was 3 adults and 2 children, and the kids were happy with the children’s menu. I would definitely recommend Sabannga to anyone

Such a warm and welcoming place. The food was to die for, spice levels adjusted to everyone’s preference. My 7-year-old said the noodles from the kids menu were the best she’s ever tasted. The staff were incredible, very courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!

Had such a lovely dining experience @ Sabannga service was great, attentive whilst leaving you to enjoy your meal. Choice of dishes was also very good we opted for Gai Satay and Tom Yum for starters then Gaeng Pah and Gaeng Panang Gai all were beautiful presented and we were pleased to be given the option of mild/medium/Thai heat etc. We also noted there was a vast choice of gluten free dishes which is great to see as my mother-in-law is celiac and usually has a poor choice when dining out so we can bring her here with confidence. Our first time dining here and will definitely be back. Have to say was really impressed with the young lady who was serving us cheerful and friendly also thoroughly cleaned and tidied other diners tables once they had left. Gave you confidence they have pride in great service and standards of hygiene. Well done great hospitality thank you will be trying some of their noodle dishes next time

We’re originally offered a small 2 seat table against a wall which seemed a little bit ‘out the way’ as everyone already there were along the other side of the restaurant so asked for a different seat. Staff were extremely kind and immediately reseated us amongst other diners
Food is always great and were great, providing 3 takeaway tubs – I get full really quickly and should have known better but can’t stop myself!)
Also we were on our way to a comedy night at Howden and had to leave quickly!
