For chainy Mexican food, it was definitely good, but Kasey, our server, was top notch which put our dining experience over the top. They have an extensive menu that covers every price point and both large and small appetites. They have a large bar area and a fairly large indoor area. They also have a covered patio for outdoor dining. We sat outside and it was really nice. Abuelos is at Crestview Hills Town Center which is an outdoor mall. Abuelos has desserts, but there is also a Cold Stone Creamery a few doors down. It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised.

Abuelo’s is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. I personally really enjoy their chicken fajitas, queso, and most of all their salsa. Each table is given a mild, lime, and hot salsa with always fresh and hot tortilla chips for dipping. They also have a bar which offers many different Mexican beers and margaritas. Each time I go in they seem to have new and unique drink specials that are very good. The prices are on the higher side, but very much worth it for the quality and amount of food and drinks you receive.

You can’t really go wrong with Abuelo’s. The prices are moderate, the portions are large, and the atmosphere is casual. The food quality is excellent, and the menu is expansive.

This Mexican restaurant has a diverse menu and authentic Mexican tasting recipes. The atmosphere is pretty and a good place for large groups or a couples special night out. Food quality and portion size is excellent. Our service was very good.
