I got the classic viet banh mi but was very surprised that most of the meat was American ham instead of Vietnamese cold cuts. There was a sliver of viet pork roll & a dab of pate for $11. You’re better off at Jimmy John’s for that price. The veggie eggroll was good.

Inside French Market… Don’t eat here. I went to the one at French Market. Service = terrible. She took my order but didn’t understand me… I can understand language barriers but I don’t understand rude. She just disregarded anything I said with a mean attitude. I am not even entitled with customer service but she was just simply harsh and didn’t care what you said. Maybe find someone who is a bit more patient and nice and who speaks English fluently for orders? I got my vegetarian $7 rice vermicelli noodle and was starving afterwards. It came with a sliver of rice noodles and a small number of veges. It was in a small flat plastic container and I definitely was not happy with starving after the meal. Maybe the physical restaurant is better?

Be careful where U R ordering – I was looking for the restaurant, but ended up at the market stall.
I was trying to get some decent pho. But got some small brown soup in a plastic bowl with few slices of meat. The soup isn’t rich and taste like sauce rather than bone broth. It was pricey for what it was and I am hungry still. Don’t order the soup – they will put the hot liquid in a plastic bowl.

I love pho… but this was honestly up there with the worst pho I’ve ever had and for $20 it was definitely not worth it. The broth had an off putting smell and taste that made the whole thing just taste gross. Will not go back.

Delicious pork belly baos, Vietnamese wagyu baos, and tender Curry chicken. I haven’t tried anything else from here but the baos are generously filled and flavorful, the bao bun is fluffy and sweet. 3 baos for $10.75 is a good price for what you get. They’re filling. Plus you can get a caramelized egg on the side for a dollar. It’s not very caramelized, but it’s good. It is basically like a tea egg which is a hard-boiled egg steeped in flavorings for days. Saigon sister’s egg doesn’t seem steeped long enough unfortunately. But it’s still a very good effort and worth the dollar. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have higher ratings. I love it and will keep going back.

Amazing place! .. I have been craving Pho for the longest time and this place hit the spot. I was confused with all the selection and ordered a sandwich instead. As soon as I received my order the lady realized it wasn’t what I thought. I was going to keep it but she insisted to switch it to the soup. I’ve never been so amazed with the great customer service after it all i find out she’s the owner! I just want to say I’m super happy with my pho soup and the customer service so worth it!!

I got the brown rice bowl with veggies. In all honesty, it tasted a little bland. At least they had vegetarian options – there wasn’t much of that in the French market. Wasn’t too expensive and they also served my food quickly.

Pretty delicious but expensive pho in Chicago. Their beef was really hard to chew and the noodle was not fully boiled so it was hard to digest them. ($15 for the Pho) however, their broth was great that I might want to try one more. But, it’s still overpriced for the food. Way too much.

Horrible bbq beef banh mi. It was soggy and fatty. Not the usual bbq beef sandwich. I won’t go here ever again
Wish I took a photo of it.

Ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the beef pho. The spring rolls were OK. The broth in the pho was pretty good but the beef in it looked a little scary. I ended up picking it all out because it made me uneasy to look at it- but I’m sure it was ok to eat. Overall, It’s a bit pricey here for quality of food.
