Inside French Market… Don’t eat here. I went to the one at French Market. Service = terrible. She took my order but didn’t understand me… I can understand language barriers but I don’t understand rude. She just disregarded anything I said with a mean attitude. I am not even entitled with customer service but she was just simply harsh and didn’t care what you said. Maybe find someone who is a bit more patient and nice and who speaks English fluently for orders? I got my vegetarian $7 rice vermicelli noodle and was starving afterwards. It came with a sliver of rice noodles and a small number of veges. It was in a small flat plastic container and I definitely was not happy with starving after the meal. Maybe the physical restaurant is better?

The baos are great but a bit pricey, the rice bowl and the sandwich are nice but I would avoid the noodles bowl which isn’t great.

Excellent! I had the Shrimp Spring rolls. Very fresh, high-quality ingredients proportioned well, assembled perfectly. Great textures and flavor! Great value as well.

Delicious pork belly baos, Vietnamese wagyu baos, and tender Curry chicken. I haven’t tried anything else from here but the baos are generously filled and flavorful, the bao bun is fluffy and sweet. 3 baos for $10.75 is a good price for what you get. They’re filling. Plus you can get a caramelized egg on the side for a dollar. It’s not very caramelized, but it’s good. It is basically like a tea egg which is a hard-boiled egg steeped in flavorings for days. Saigon sister’s egg doesn’t seem steeped long enough unfortunately. But it’s still a very good effort and worth the dollar. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have higher ratings. I love it and will keep going back.

I got the brown rice bowl with veggies. In all honesty, it tasted a little bland. At least they had vegetarian options – there wasn’t much of that in the French market. Wasn’t too expensive and they also served my food quickly.

Amazing place! .. I have been craving Pho for the longest time and this place hit the spot. I was confused with all the selection and ordered a sandwich instead. As soon as I received my order the lady realized it wasn’t what I thought. I was going to keep it but she insisted to switch it to the soup. I’ve never been so amazed with the great customer service after it all i find out she’s the owner! I just want to say I’m super happy with my pho soup and the customer service so worth it!!

Pretty delicious but expensive pho in Chicago. Their beef was really hard to chew and the noodle was not fully boiled so it was hard to digest them. ($15 for the Pho) however, their broth was great that I might want to try one more. But, it’s still overpriced for the food. Way too much.

Ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the beef pho. The spring rolls were OK. The broth in the pho was pretty good but the beef in it looked a little scary. I ended up picking it all out because it made me uneasy to look at it- but I’m sure it was ok to eat. Overall, It’s a bit pricey here for quality of food.

Being Vietnamese American I guess you could say my standard on food that represents my culture is higher than normal. I was really disappointed in this spot because I wanted so bad for it to be delicious since it was so close to me. Unfortunately, everything was way under seasoned, bland, no care taken in presentation or over sauced. Management and staff were super accommodating but the food was just not good. I hope the amazing owners start start actually using authentic flavors and putting a little more thought into the food.
