We were pleasantly surprised by this place! The breakfast was good and on par with waffle house, but the pancakes is where it’s at! They had the best pancakes and steak and eggs I’ve had in a long time. The interior vibe is a bit dated but cozy and nice for a truck stop restaurant. Cary Ann and the servers were so sweet and kind. You have to try this place if you’re in the area.

This Iron Skillet was super busy but was greeted and seated promptly. Didn’t have to wait long for the order to be taken by Renee. Renee, was so sweet and friendly. She is the true version of Southern hospitality. Linda, the chef, cooked our steaks to perfection. A first for my guy who likes his rare and mine was well done the way I like it. Salad bar fresh and stocked. Loved the decor. Very clean. Food and service was Excellent.

We stopped here for lunch and what an excellent meal we had! The service by our waitress was great! The cook made delicious meals for all three of us. If you are looking for a good meal on your way out I-40, stop at the BP Gas Statiin and have a meal at the Iron Skillet.

This little place surprised me. We were on our way back to Memphis and saw this place and decided to give it try. It was around 9ish so it wasn’t pack at all and the waitress, which I can’t remember her name was nice and helpful. They have a lot of food items to choose from and food was pretty good.

Don’t judge a restaurant just because it’s attached to a gas station. We had breakfast here and it was really good. Large portions and well cooked and seasoned.

2 stars only for the great attitude of the employees. I know it’s not their fault that the food tasted like pond water. Starving kids in Africa would sent it back. Nothing here had any flavor. I have had better quality steak dinners from strip clubs. If you prefer to chew on dirty shoelaces and old bubblegum than I recommend the new York strip from this Iron Skilet.

Hot chocolate was so thick I could barely stir it with a spoon. Tasted awful. Eggs were over cooked. Not a good breakfast for me.
