Our service was good and the environment was quiet. My son really liked his food, I found it lacked flavor. My daughter in law didn’t think it was great either and was sick afterwards, something didn’t agree with her.

I have been coming here for the majority of my life, I love this place so much. The food is always amazing, the staff are so sweet, and so t has such a homey comforting feeling. I cannot recommend Ortega’s more I typically go once a week and have for years, in all this time not once have I had a bad experience.

The worst service I ever have, she was very rude and not competent, the food wasn’t as expected and very pricing for the small portions they serve, the rice was very hard I think it was from the day before, we ask if they have breakfast and she answered with a horrible attitude,we ask for micheladas and they only serve 3 of them and then she said they out of clamato it was 5 of us. My plate was extremely hot and she didn’t warned me about it, I burned myself also apart of all of this. I won’t recommend this place at all! Save money time and energy

We had an appetizer platter and the choices were OK, but with limited flavor. I had the chicken chimichangas and once again nice texture but no flavor. The waitress was very pleasant but it was a slow night and I shouldn’t have had to ask for a drink refill. Overall it was OK, but I don’t think it was enough to bring me back in the door.

Texan here and while in Groton I was craving some good Mexican food. Boy, did they deliver! Service was genuinely great! Coffee was really good! I’m just going to keep going back. Let’s talk food….I got tomatillo/green chicken enchiladas! Perfectly done! Lot’s to choose from!

We stopped by a local brewery and found Ortega’s Mexican Food truck. The actual street tacos were amazing and I forgot to take a picture of the quesadilla it looked so good. I’d love to visit their brick and mortar restaurant, seeing their food truck is this good.

Horrible. My husband and I spent $60 for just the two of us and didn’t even get $60 worth of food. I ordered nachos and recieved a plate that had literally 8 single chips on it….. $20 just for that. My husband ordered a burrito dinner and recieved 3 burritos (small flour tortillas) that quite literally ONLY had meat in it. The coffee was burnt. The meat on my nachos was extremely dry and tasted burnt. Not worth the time or money at all.
