Back in 1947, the incomparable Lovie Yancey started the business with her husband: a three-stool hamburger stand called Mr. Fatburger. But in 1952, they split. Ever persistent, she dropped “Mr.” from the namesake, and Fatburger became her own. She worked 18-hour days and made Fatburger into an icon; with celebrities frequenting The Last Great Hamburger Stand, we started our journey to becoming a household name.

I was in the area taking care of some business: I decided to stop by Fatburger before I hit the freeway back to Diamond Bar, Ca. I am a supervisor (26yrs)for a major utility in California, and even though our motto is “we are the power behind peace of mind”, sometimes customer service can be harsh to your peace and mind! I notice out and about, customer service has died a very brutal death. Matthew has changed my mind about that. He was having the worse time with his POS system, and could only accept online orders. Matthew stayed professional, never wavering on his job and commitment to service and acommodate his customers. His tone never changed, he remained professional, and even was able to direct the other employees w/ courtesy and patience. I am now retiring in a few wks. If I was still in the hiring phase of my job, I would steal that young man and allow him to flourish under my mentorship! Fatburger, please treat him w/ the respect he deserves; your customers need more representation like Matthew. Thank You Matthew, and Blessing to all you do in the future sir!
By the way, your bathroom was well cleaned, smelled clean also. I gave atmosphere 4 stars because it was unfair to your best employee not to make sure he can effectively do his job, because not all customers are as patient as I am. No blame on Matthew at all. Then gave him the uncomfortable task to ask if he could screenshot my order from my phone…tsk tsk tsk!! Do better!

I ordered their triple burger with bacon and cheese combo with soda and thin fries and their original with bacon and cheese and strawberry shake. The cashier was friendly but doesnt seem to be very knowledgeable of their product for instance i ordered a salad and she says we no longer have that salad so i orderes the other salad and she tells we dont have that one too. I dont know what happened it all happened on my day off. So all i know is that we are not selling salads anymore. Other than that this burger place is a pleasant place to eat. The ambience is great..

Shout out to the employees there because the service is great and this place is so clean that just between me and the universe…you can eat of off the floor not that I would advocate that, however it is worth the risk. Food was served hot and promptly. I would definitely recommend this place for a first meet or date spot.
